The staff was exceptionally dedicated to service. I travelled with family and had accidentally booked the wrong room for one of my family members. The woman at the desk was very understanding and went above and beyond in accommodating a room change. I would very higher recommend this hotel!

Wonderful, historic hotel. Beautiful room with a great street view. Very clean. Highly recommended. The only negative is that you have to drag your luggage up one set of stairs. Luckily they are low so it makes it easier. Definitely worth the stay at a hotel built in the year 1000. I hope to stay again.

Well the hotel is convenient, close to tourist spot. The room is hot, they can’t adjust the ac. The shower room drainage is clogged. The lady who checked in us, discouraged us not to purchase a breakfast from the hotel. She said there is a lot of restaurant to go. The first room that we went is not that much spacious, so me and my wife requested a bigger room. The receptionist said, I can transfer you to other room but you need to go to other room early in the morning .

What a wonderful stay at a beautiful property!! There are a few stairs up to the lift to negotiate with your bags when you arrive, but thats understandable when you are in central Florence and the gentleman on reception very kindly helped us in. We can't speak highly enough of the welcoming, friendly and informative reception staff, who were keen to give us "insider" knowledge on places to visit and eat during our stay. They definately made it feel like a home away from home. The location is absolutely perfect, with the Duomo and all the major gallories and museums just a few minutes walk away. It was fairly noisy in our room with the windows open, but significantly reduced by the shutters being closed at night and again, you are in central Florence, so it is expected to be a bit noisy as its a bustling, vibrant city. There is a city tax to pay at the end of the stay, but its only 8Euro per night. We would definately recommend the hotel, the staff and the location. Our stay in Florence was absolutely perfect and we look forward to going back as soon as we can!

Three flights of stairs to get to the office initially with all our luggage and one flight of stairs once checked in and had key to elevator. Not a property for elderly or those who have difficulty with stairs. No available staff to help with luggage up the stairs. Very very warm room and unable to cool it. Sits on a rather busy street in Florence so could not open a window at night due to noise. Almost unworkably small shower. Much more expensive than an excellent hotel room in Rome,

The staff was excellent. Everyone that we met was very nice and accommodating. This property is located in the heart of Florence conveniently located next to Piazza Della Signoria and the Uffizi Gallery. Lots of shopping, restaurants, and endless gelato. With that comes lots of energy, which is great. But it can be challenging to sleep as there seems to be activity all night long.

The hotel was nice and ckean. However, the bed was very uncomfortable. In addition, the hairdryer didn’t work. I also didn’t appreciate the smoked glass windows for doors to the bathroom.

This is a beautiful property. You walk up one flight of stairs to get to the elevator. It’s a small elevator or you can keep walking up 2 flights of steps to the door. It’s really not a bad walk. Then you get to the door, you will need your key to get into the hotel from outside and in the hotel doorway. This does make you feel very safe considering the hotel is in the center of town. The staff is wonderful and very friendly. The room is spacious and it does have a small fridge and safe. The bathrooms are gorgeous and the whole room is made of stone and brick. The architecture is beautiful. There is no air conditioning or screens on the doors, but the breeze is phenomenal. We went in March and it was cool at night and warmer during the day. The check in and check out process was easy. It was simple to get a cab to and from the hotel. The hotel called a cab for us when we left. It was a great stay. Highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel, our room with Turkish bathroom was perfect. The hotel location is really central which makes walking to Florence’s attractions so easy. The staff were all so helpful and welcoming. If we had to mention anything that could be improved, it would be the firmness of the beds, but this is personal preference, (a topper would be a perfect solution). This is a minor point though and no way spoilt our stay. We would definitely book again! Thank you
