Nice reception area but thats where it ends, corridors & rooms are run down, unclean and the rooms bathroom was from the dark ages. Had holes in the bathroom tiles, insects living by the shower and lacking any room hygiene. Breakfast was also very basic and chaotic, which quickly vanishes - turned up 15mins after it open and hardly anything left. Location is good with all the main sights within easy walking distance and supermarket nearby.

The hotel is very simple, but in a great location. The gentlemen at the front desk were always nice. They gave us good tips of restaurants and transportation.

The hotel was old but very pleasant. Yes things were a bit damaged in some areas such as paintwork in the rooms and the slightly old furniture. However the rooms were very clean and quiet and the bed and shower were both great. Breakfast was a normal continental with great coffee. The hotel was in a fabulous location right in the middle of town near both the sites and the station. We left our luggage on the last day which was very convienient, and came and sat in the hotel’s air conditioned lounge before we left. We had a great stay and the staff were all very pleasant.

PROS: The hotel is close to the train station. The breakfast was good with different choices. There are lots of trattorias in the area. CONS : This hotel is old and dated. Our room was grungy with old carpets and tired furniture. It just felt damp and uncomfortable. I will never stay here again.

Location was perfect , the trolley practically dropped me off at the front door, the trolley from the airport no less. Well, the hotel was a typical old hotel, did have a charming foyer and seating area and the room is pretty much only for sleeping, small and spartan. And the railroad station was a stones throw away, couldn't be any better
