Perfection!!

Hotel Santa Maria Novella is a charming boutique hotel. If you’re looking for beautiful details in every room, you’re in the right place. The hotel is gorgeous and the details are stunning. There’s a good view of the piazza, overlooking the chapel. Perfect location to walk anywhere you need to go in Florence. The service was amazing, and even reserved a nice restaurant for us. The complimentary breakfast is like no other. Overall amazing stay, highly recommend.

This is a great hotel and I highly recommend staying there. The staff was excellent and very helpful. Very close to the main train depot, within walking distance to the Accademia Gallery, many great restaurants nearby. The charm and decor of this place is remarkable. Breakfast was also very good.

Fine boutique hotel in Florence.

This is surely among the finest boutique hotels in Florence... wonderful location, immaculate building rich in white marble and fine woods, and most important warm, sincere, professional hospitality by the entire staff. The price was surprisingly modest all considered (we visited in mid-winter). Hint... if you have trouble sleeping, chose a room off the SM Novella square.

You get amazing breakfast, kind and tentative housekeeping, and kind service from all staff. Water is included in your stay as well as a bottle of wine. The location is great. Lovely location, traditional hotel

Great location on Piazza Santa Maria Novella (and close to train station). Lovely hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Great breakfast. My large room had a view into piazza/church, which was lovely, but there was lots of loud noise and music from bars below which I didn’t enjoy. Marble-tiled bathroom was spacious, but shower over bath with flimsy shower curtain wasn’t pleasant.

Hotel staff was very accommodating. The bed was comfortable and the service was great. Very close the train station, about a 5 minute walk. Great local restaurants within walking distance. Also great location for visiting the historical sites.

The hotel was excellent! The breakfast every day was incredible. We also loved the reading room and terrace. The staff were always friendly and the hotel was always clean and welcoming after a day out and about. There are many restaurants in the area that were wonderful too!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for a few days, and I must say it was an outstanding experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of my stay was perfect The room was immaculate, spacious, and providing a comfortable and relaxing environment. The amenities offered were top-notch, and the attention to detail was evident throughout the hotel Dining at the hotel's restaurant was a delight, offering delicious breakfast and well-prepared dishes. Overall, my stay at this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way.

This is a great little hotel. The staff was very nice and the breakfast was very good. The only thing I did not like was that the room which they showed in the picture was no the room that we received. The room in the photo when we reserved was completely different, inside and also the view of the room which in my opinion is unacceptable. I will not go to this hotel again for this simple reason.
