Beautiful property, centrally located (we could walk everywhere), lovely breakfasts each morning. The staff were very kind and helpful. They upgraded us for free to a room with a view of the Duomo, and when we planned to stay in Florence a few extra days, they were incredibly accommodating. Highly recommend.

Lovely quirky hotel with great staff

It was a lovely quirky hotel, however my room required a flight of quite narrow stairs, perhaps not great for someone of my age, but they were super friendly, we all got a Christmas gift and the breakfast was the best I had in Italy. Great location, easy for walking and tons of restaurants. Besides the room up a flight of stairs, it was a great stay.

Our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teenagers) enjoyed the old-world charm of this hotel. Our spacious room was top floor of the annex. It was beautifully furnished, had a king bed and 2 twin beds. The beds were very comfortable. A huge bathroom with a tub and a shower we wish we had at home: perfect water pressure! Advice to anyone staying: first open the hot water and let it run until very hot, then slowly add cold water and then it is perfect. The location was excellent. Walk out the door of the annex and look right: the Duomo. Right across the street-delicious pizza. Wonderful restaurant RossoCrudo. To the left is the Innocenti. Hotel serves a delicious breakfast. Staff is kind and helpful. All of Florence attractions are a very pleasant short walk away. The only negative is that the old, tall windows are only single paned. Although it is a quiet area, if young people are walking at night and talking loud, you can hear them. I always travel with ear plugs, so no problem and my family sleeps through anything. If you are a light sleeper, I highly recommend ear plugs. We will be back to this hotel when we return to Florence.

The hotel is beautiful and well kept. We stayed 4 nights. The location is superb. The breakfast was very good and the personnel was very accommodating. We had a wonderful time and definitely would come back if I ever have the chance to stay in Florence again.
