The hotel is in the Perry location.. easy to walk to everything and some lovely little trattorias very close by. Hotel is very intimate and the staff are very friendly and helpful

Lovely hotel
This hotel was charming and beautiful. It was in a great location. Walkable to many sites. This hotel was maintained and very clean. Our room was a spacious room with a living area and a bedroom. There was a malfunction lock on our bathroom door that caused me to get locked in the bathroom for nearly an hour. My husband had already fallen asleep when I took a shower and could not unlock the door. I locked it to try to keep it from opening. My husband did wake up after I knocked loud enough and he went to get assistance from the hotel. A staff member had to use a screwdriver to turn the lock mechanism from the hallway side, which unlocked the bathroom door. That 3rd floor bathroom door lock should be replaced. I had my phone charging in another room, it was a very cold night, a fire hazard, and no way to get help if I was alone. There was the police gathered in front of the hotel plaza downstairs that I could see from the bathroom window that I was considering to yell for help if I could not get out.

The best thing about the San Firenze is the Staff. Really friendly and helpful - lovely people. The location is excellent, very central for all the main tourist destinations. There are so many restaurants, you can't really go wrong for good Italian food. Our room was excellent, with a very comfortable queen size bed, good air con, really good shower - a peaceful environment in the heart of the city. Breakfast was cozy with good choice of food and nice and relaxed. We would certainly stay again.

I highly recommend staying here during your visit to Florence! The staff was absolutely the very best in assisting with all our questions and needs! The room was lovely and had a great view. We walked to most tour meeting locations; when needed, the staff assisted with taxis and transport. The service to the room was excellent; breakfast was also very delicious! Can’t go wrong staying here!

Wonderful Stay in Firenze
We had a wonderful experience staying at this hotel in the center of Florence. The staff is very courteous and they go out of their way to meet your needs. We did a lot of walking and we appreciated the large size of our suite and the views from multiple room windows. The hotel is very close to major attractions and you can even walk to and from the train station as we did, although towing your luggage on cobblestones (as one does in Italy) does lose its luster after awhile. We found this hotel and Florence to be very romantic, would stay here again.
