Fun in Florence

Andrew and Paula were right there to greet us and very helpful throughout our stay. We were grateful for the elevator. Our room was quite small and had little room for luggage. The step up to the bathroom was easy to forget, but we had no incident. The bed was super comfy. We enjoyed the common room when we wanted just to relax. The location is great. We walked across Ponte Vecchio a couple times each day. The Pitti Palace is right across the street with Boboli Gardens behind it. Everything was within walking distance.

This is not a hotel. There is no lobby or reception. Check-in was inconvenient; the manager messaged me all weekend, wanting to know exactly what time I was arriving, so that he could meet me at the property. I thought I had booked a hotel, so that I would not have to worry about exactly when I arrived, but this was not the case.

Paola and Andrew are attentive, friendly hosts. The hotel is a charming Medici-era building with modern updates. Very comfortable and in walking distance to all the sights. A beautiful neighborhood. Perfect!

Great place! Highly recommend

The room was beautiful, spacious, and clean - super comfortable bed. The location is fantastic! Follow the directions for the elevator exactly as they say! I got super freaked out because I forgot to not stand on the yellow line and the elevator kept stopping. A big sign posted in there would help. Also - don’t bring a car. It’s super inconvenient and parking is very expensive! The proprietors are very helpful and friendly.

Our stay here was wonderful. The location was perfect for sightseeing in Florence. The beds in this hotel are some of the most comfortable I’ve slept in since arriving in Italy. The hotel was clean and very comfortable and Andrew and Paola were beyond helpful. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Florence

Fabulous location

We were met by the owner, the hotel is located on the upper floor as many are here, the room was large and had a lounge area, a quaint bathroom and courtyard view. The location a mere 200 metres from the Ponte Vecchio and many other historical sights. Restaurants, bars and coffee shops gave you plenty of choice. I would stay here again .
