The room's walls, closet and furniture were old and deteriorated. The floor under the bed had some garbage and was dusty as well. The AC system was damaged and did not cool off the entire living area, only the bedrroom.The mattress and pillows were old and very unfomfortable to sleep on. I had a very rough night sleep.
Room was large but in need of updates. It felt very basic and dark. Water in the shower kept fluctuating between super cold and boiling hot for no reason. Door lock was busted and kept not working on me. Housekeeping is offered on a every other day basis, even though they did not show up on either of the 2 days i stayed there.
Desde la llegada es complicado. El check in es lento y el recepcionista que me atendió, nada amable. No hablan español como lo ofrecen en su publicidad. El parqueo es caro. En una habitación para 4 sólo teníamos 2 cobijas y 2 paños. Rentamos un apartamento con 2 habitaciones, en una el aire acondicionado casi no funcionaba y en las zonas comunes no había aire acondicionado por lo que eran muy calientes.
Desde a chegada é complicado. O check in é lento e a recepcionista que me atendeu, não é simpática. Eles não falam espanhol porque o oferecem em sua publicidade. O estacionamento é caro. Em um quarto para 4, tínhamos apenas 2 cobertores e 2 panos. Alugamos um apartamento de 2 quartos, em um o ar condicionado mal funcionava e não havia ar condicionado nas áreas comuns, então eram muito quentes.
Great place to stay! Was the best of our trip all over Brazil, price reasonable, beds like the rest of Brazil were very firm but had great blankets and pillows. Don’t be afraid of the twin beds they were big! Perfect location to view the carnival street parade. The staff was helpful, easy free parking on the street, the hotel has parking too but we didn’t need it. Drive to the beautiful beach took about 45 mins with carnival traffic. Would definitely recommend, no frills but all the essentials and friendly staff.
Dirty hotel, worn out sheets and towels, terrible bathroom. And to top it all, broken elevator while room was on the 9th floor. No manager on duty and no offer to compensate me for the aggravation.

Price vs conditions the hotel offers is very very good.
Nothing to complain about my stay, lots of great people working in the hotel, smiley, charismatic, outgoing. The room is great, the only downside is the gym, which is WIP.
Look of the entrance hall/continental breakfast area/way the staff dresses up does not match with the conditions of the room.
Bathroom was filthy, the few furniture available was very old, damaged and in very bad shape, only a "micro" TV (size of it did not look larger than a 15" laptop screen) was available.
It seems that the service elevator (very old, damaged and small) has been the only one running for sometime now.
Even being one of the cheapest around the area, it was not worth the price.
Management should stop operations, fix and upgrade rooms and elevators and then reopen the hotel.
It does not make sense to continue operation as is. The name of the hotel will be severely affected.
