Really pleasant welcome on arrival. Good sized room, but bed was very hard and lumpy. Very good breakfast. No on site parking and limited parking around the hotel.

Worth a try

Quaint English Inn on the English Channel. Excellent restaurant and bar. Friendly people. Rooms were sparse but comfortable. Our son’s family stayed in rm next door and they has already made up the roll in beds. The surrounding area is interesting but no retail.

Hotel is right on the Leas and does have a view over the Channel. Lovely walk down to the harbour arm and old town. Train station 15 minutes away. Folkestone is a great place to visit. Highly recommend

Warm welcome from receptionist. Room beautifully clean, linen nice and crisp. Towels fluffy. Free bottles of drinking water. Only downfall was lift was out of order, but got a free drink voucher. Will definitely be back for a third visit

Only notified about lift not working when i arrived and i was on second floor . Luckily im fit but someone else may have struggled. Could not get a printed invoice on checkout - promised to email me one hasn't materialised yet . No privacy in room as is overlooked so you need to keep the curtains closed at all times.

The hotel is in a lovely location, great spot uphill above the shores. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Parking wasn't too bad, however be mindfull some charge all the till 5pm and some 8pm, which you can get at the hotel to pay park. The room was very spacious, unfortunately the ground level there was high fumes of cooking smells, it might be the restaurant cooking dinner. Disappointed about the en suite bathroom, it was very small, however the spacious room made up for it. The restaurant food was ok, nothing bad, however nothing amazing. I would stay here again, just purely for location and views.

Seaside View

Nicely renovated seaside hotel with a pleasant cliff-top location. There's a modern llift which is vey welcome if you’re on the upper floors. One issue would be the lack of water pressure on top floor (4th floor) but the shower still functions ok.

Room was lovely. Even slightly overlooking the sea. Was very clean and the hotel was stylish. Very friendly staff and catered Well with finding us a table at dinner time even when it was limited staff and no tables. Food took quite a while to come out but understandable when short staffed, staff were rushed off their feet, even reception lady was helping out in the restaurant. and slightly on the expensive side but was very tasty. Worth the wait. Would definitely stay here again. Great value for money too. Lovely hotel
