We came & went but didn't get to visit.
Harbor Light Lodge was excellent, however, once we arrived my left front wheel froze. We contacted AAA. In the meantime, there were no garages that could look at my truck until the upcoming week. There're no rentals in Fort Bragg, the nearest rentals Ukiah or Cresent city, both 50 miles away. We eventually had the truck towed to Willits & it was fixed the next day & we took a taxicab to pick up our truck. From there we travelled back to the Bay Area. When visiting Mendocino County make sure you have a backup plan for breakdowns in advance before visiting.

Upon our arrival we were met with the most outgoing gentleman at the front desk, can remember his name all I remember was that he was from the same part of California as us (the 209 ayeeee) . He was very nice and informative, our rooms were kept very clean and the view from our room was nice. Only complaint that I have was that when I was shower doing my thang, the water got very very cold fo a few seconds then remained warm for the rest of my shower , caught me by surprised. Other than that , this place was very nice 8/10 for me !

The location is great, and the view of the harbor is amazing! There’s a walkway (it needs some stairs replaced) down to the harbor, which is convenient. The staff was super friendly. The bed was pretty comfortable, we couldn’t get our fireplace to work, and the in-room coffee maker was a plus. Overall, it was a good place to stay!

Great cozy stay
Great stay!!! Everyone here was so nice and friendly. I booked a few nights in Fort Bragg so I could do some hiking and adventuring nearby. The weather was terrible during my trip, but it felt like such a luxury to come back to the hotel at the end of the day to a warm room, hot shower with good water pressure, large and numerous towels, and a cozy bed & tv. As a solo female traveler I felt totally safe the entire time. Very nicely laid out parking lot, front office, and room access (no dark secluded hallways). The place is budget friendly, comfortable, and the staff are exceptionally hospitable!
