The room was clean but things I didn't like were that the heat did not seem to work (was only there 1 night) well/ at all in the room. We turned it on, but it would not seem to stay on long? Also the tile in the shower was a bit sloped and slippery. Since there were no rubber mats provided, we threw a towel in there on the floor to help prevent slipping while showering. We noted also no grab bars and a large step into the titled shower "cubicle" so if you have mobility problems - be sure to ask about rooms. Was in a quiet spot and we felt very safe there. We loved the Denny's across the street since we had fantastic service!! I would not stay here again, but it was fine for our 2 night overnight stop on our road trip.

I wish I had had warm water for a shower and/or a toilet that would flush appropriately. Plus the lady at the desk was a gem (hint the sarcasm).on the serious note though, The housekeepers were phenomenal and the sweetest humans of all time. Room was clean and it smelled so fresh and clean upon arrival. My room also liked to keep heat in it even though it was 55 outside and no heat was on in my room. I had to open my door to allow some aeration at 0300. Area safe and close to a cool burger joint and decent bars.

Unfortunately, I did not stay the night but left after checking in. The room was dirty, and in poor condition. A guest a few rooms away was playing loud music with their door open. Disappointing is an understatement.

The first room we were given was still dirty. The second room was better, but there was no AC. After looking back at their listing, AC is not listed, but who would have expected that anywhere, much less CA.

When we arrived, the door was wide open and a dirty tissue was on the table. The toilet was wobbly and felt as if it was going to fall. The sealant around the toilet needs to be replaced. The brown hair the was on the shower wall was gross (I have pink hair). The cleanliness was disappointing and unfortunately we will not be returning.

I will not recomend, its dirty, bathtub and toilet constantly would clog, very disgusting. Staff don't clean the room daily basis.

When we opened the door it was pretty hot in the room. There is NO AC only a heater. Had to leave all the windows open to cool it off. It finally got comfortable and the sleep was good until people started to drive in the morning and we could hear it all as the windows were open.

The Motel was located downtown and within walking distance to the Ocean, dining , easy parking plus other shopping by our Motel. Dislike we had ant's in our bathroom.
