We were able to walk to Glass Beach, drive 15 minutes to deep Forest MTB trails and enjoy local dining. The only knock is the in room heater gets loud when it cycles on. Not sure if it was just our unit though.

It is good for an overnight to get rest and move on. Bring air fresheners as it had an old musty smell from being closed up. Staff is very nice. Ok for the price.

Comfy bed, and right next to a restaurant that serves breakfast. There are two goofy things about this room that should be mentioned: the bathroom mirror is not above the sink (which made shaving an amusing activity), and the shower gel/shampoo dispensers are located outside the shower above the sink.

The best part of this property was its proximity to the town center. We were easily able to walk to the shops, restaurants, and beach; easy to stumble back after a few beverages. There's a breakfast/lunch cafe next door as well. That said, the property is showing its age. The paint on the stairs was flaking and the bathroom looked a little old. The sheets could use an upgrade aswell. But the towels were great and appeared brand new. And the mattresses were comfortable. Staff was fine. I only interacted with them at check in, but they were fun. If you like a super quiet room, this was not it. The hotel is a few blocks from the Skunk Train and the whistles blew fairly often, but did stop at a rwasonable time at night. Plus the hotel is on Main Street, so there's occasional traffic driving by. Overall, a solid 4 stars.
