Positives: Hotel was clean and easy to get to from the Main street. Ample parking in front of your room and safe. The room itself was clean and had the basic necessities (fridge, hangars, shower amenities) Negatives: the door safety latch was broken, the bathroom amenities are placed outside the shower cubicle so was a bit inconvenient. The hairdryer in our room was noisy and stopped working after a few seconds of use. We were actually fearful of getting a shock from using it. We informed the Housekeeper on check-out. The body cream dispenser was faulty and didnt work even though it was full. The hotel otherwise is good if you are just using it to sleep. Be mindful the hotel is under different management, so it is not a Studio 9 but another brand.

Room was not very clean and was not comfortable and the shower was not usable. Water would spray from the shower head all over the bathroom when an attempt to use the shower was made. I do not recommend staying here ever.

The rude lady at the front desk asked me what I wanted when I showed up at 2:47pm. She said it was too early to check in so I told her I would wait in my car for 13 minutes. The motel is pretty run down but the room was clean. The towels were the nicest part of the room. It really is a perfect location to walk to the cute downtown and to Glass Beach.

This was a terrible stay. Motel changed its name so we couldn’t find it easily. Name not changed on website. We were told there was a white piece of paper with old name taped to window that we never saw. Very rude check in person. Terrible parking. Pictures in website looked like motel was on or close to beach but it was 3 blocks away with no entrance to beach. Curtains hung over heat/ac do couldn’t use. Phone had no dial tone. TV had three remotes and one didn’t work. Bathroom had five dispensers of soap shampoo etc of which only two had anything in them. Parking lot was hard to get in and out of. When front desk person came to look at tv he couldn’t fix it then had an attitude. Would never recommend this place!

Showed up a little early. Rude lady said no early check in even though we were only 40 mins early. Gentleman was really friendly and helpful. Housekeepers were really nice too. Room was a little aged but not bad for the price. Expedia over charged us. It would have been cheaper to pay the hotel directly. I reached out and they told me since I prepaid they couldn’t give me the difference.

The room was very clean. However, the smell from whatever cleaning chemicals were used was almost overpowering. At least it wasn't bleach, or I would've had to leave. It was fairly quiet at night, which was great. The hotel sign is hard to see from the busy highway and I missed the turn first time. It's a tight entrance and someone checking in was parked in front of the lobby so that I couldn't get all the way off the highway till they pulled forward. Check in and check out were quick and easy.

It's an old style motel that has been refinished and is nice and simple and clean with whatever amenities you need. The bed was very comfortable too and the shower had good water pressure.

an expensive motel six
What an awful hotel. Place is run down (which I can overlook) but they charge you the most and give you the least. Tv did not work, husband had to unplug, reset and mess around with cables multiple times before it worked. If you don’t know much about tv’s you won’t be able to watch it. Heater did not work, they give you a small portable one. Noisy doesn’t even begin to describe it- busy area so lots of children screaming, horns honkin, engines rubbing, trains, people speaking loudly, and last but not least, music blaring until 1am. We called both police and hotel to see if they could help with the blaring music which was located directly behind us in a towns hall event center. Police laughed at us and said it’s not high priority so deal with it, hotel shrugged their shoulders and said it happens every weekend so oh well. If you stay here just know that your quietness is absolutely not a priority to the hotel, they don’t give a hoot if you actually get to sleep/ motel six is a funner experience- I’d head there before coming back
