Great friendly staff and very convenient for shopping and everything else. The rooms however while very clean and comfortable need a bit of updating. There was a rust stain in my tub and loose tiles in the bathroom. Also the drawstring for the curtain needed some lubricant as it was hard to open and close the curtain. Overall though would stay again.

Its time for a total renovation. The bathtub is peeling, dirty grout, old dingy furniture, and the ice machine hasn't worked in 3 years. It use to be nice and clean and now it is old, outdated, and the room doesn't smell fresh and clean. We use to live in the area and out of habit I've been using this hotel since 2016. I'll try some of the other hotels in the area on my next visit.

The system was down so they never provided a key for me to come in my room or out of my room. I always have to go downstairs and ask somebody to come up and I had to wait for somebody to open the door. If not, I would’ve been locked out of my room. Did not feel safe

I had an excellent stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Ft. Lauderdale SW/Miramar. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making check-in a breeze. My room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The hotel’s amenities, including the fitness center and on-site restaurant, were top-notch, and I appreciated the convenience of the location, which made getting around easy. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area and would definitely stay here again.

When traveling, I always stay at a Hilton property because I expect a level of service and standard with my accommodations which I love the Hilton brand. Upon check-in, my room was already pre-paid so I was only expecting the hold to be placed for incidentals. I was charged again for the full amount of the reservation and then told by the representative it didn’t go through on her end so I ended up having to re-book and then be charged a 3rd time. Plus incidentals. I showed her the email confirmation and the withdrawal of the charges and she still wasn’t able to honor it. It was such an inconvenience and having my money held for several days for a 1 night stay. The representative was essentially useless in trying to resolve the matter saying there was nothing she can do or no one to escalate it to. The room was decent. Bathroom and furniture outdated. I had a suite. Sofa bed was uncomfortable. Springs protruding through the mattress. The bathroom needed touch ups. The water pressure in the bathroom was very low including toilet and faucet. Only plus, main beds were comfortable. Upon entering the room, immediate stench of “wet” greeted us. Moldy odor and stale smoke lingering. Possibly because of carpet. Carpet was also damp. Socks were wet and we ended up having to either walk barefoot or keep our shoes on while in the room. I’ve definitively had better experiences with Hilton. Will not be returning to this location or recommend it to other family and friends.
