I stay here nearly every December because of the nostalgia. My last home in NJ was in the complex behind the hotel. And over 25 years ago I hosted a family event here (was Radisson then) and family members stayed here. This year, the property seems incredibly tired and in need of a serious refresh. Only one elevator is working and I feel like I’m taking my life in my hands when riding in the cricket-y working elevator. The door to my room does lock but feels so not secure. The bedroom furnishings are tired. The only thing feeling like it’s been updated in the past 15 years is the bathroom which, thank goodness, feels clean. Without serious renovations, I’m not sure I’d stay here again. And that makes me sad.

The stay was ok. Only problem is that I was charged twice. I tried to explain to the clerk that I already was charged but she went ahead and charged my card again and had to go through the refund process. Never had this problem with IHG hotels. Other than that no problems.
