We were in Ft Myers to watch our son play baseball in the Roy Hobbs tournament. The Best Western was centrally located and right next to a Dairy Queen! It was a super stay, great room, the breakfast gal and the front desk employees were very nice.

The location, right off a major road was very convenient. Hotel was very clean and the staff was pleasant. The complimentary breakfast was excellent! Food was hot and plentiful. The woman from Egypt - sorry I couldn't remember her name, did an amazing job and was constantly refilling food and cleaning.

Worst experience of my life!
During Hurricane Helene we had to evacuate Fort Myers Florida we had reservations at this hotel for two nights. One night before the hurricane I called to tell them that we needed to extend an evening because the hurricane hit shifted and was now coming later. When I called the front just girl told me that no they were closed those days. I said you could not possibly be we have reservations we have a hurricane coming and everybody sold out I have a husband with Alzheimer's and a 99 year old man with me along with myself and the caretaker of the 99-year-old. She said oh somebody was supposed to call you they'll be calling you tomorrow. That was the day of the hurricane. I will never ever ever even attempt to say this place again. When there is somebody's life in danger and we have been evacuated and I have an husband with Alzheimer's and a neighbor that's 99 years old with me and they close the place without telling us the day before. No phone call nothing if I hadn't have called them to extend I never would have known we would have shown up at the hotel with no place to stay in the middle of a hurricane. I would not recommend this place to anybody anytime ever!

I requested to have room change to a quiet room, The staff mention since it was a 3rd party booking, they can't do anything for me sorry. I was there for work trip and the place was noisy and had thin walls. I did not get any sleep at all.

The mattresses felt like rocks. The AC WAS HORRIBLE. The rooms were so hot. The ventilation was terrible We coughed in the room the whole time.
