When checking in we saw there was a conference. I asked the front desk what it was for and she seemed very hesitant to answer. Turns out it was for C/Anonymous. Not my favorite situation as they partied all night. Next day we went to our seminar and went to go to the pool which is made out of tiny pebbles that hurt our feet. No downstairs bathroom, had to use another room for the rest room near the pool. To top it off we had no hot water for showers on check out morning. No apologies just more keys to another room to go shower in. We drove 4 hours home and will absolutely not be subjecting ourselves to another Hilton until they are done their construction. No thanks!

The TVs were not working during our stay. Apparently, that was the case throughout the hotel. Very disappointing as we were looking forward to watching college football that afternoon and evening. At checkout I asked about a credit and was told they wouldn't give a credit because we booked through Expedia. In today's computerized world it should be easy for the hotel to issue a credit back through Expedia or by some other means. I hesitate to use Expedia in the future if it's true that no credit can be given if there is a problem with the travel experience.

We have stayed there for years for baseball camp . It seemed really dirty and for all the work that has been going on it’s still in bad shape . The man at the front desk was short with me and never smiled . I hope they have it together by January. If it wasn’t for camp we would find somewhere else to stay

Decent hotel from appearances but my room had an AC system that was noisy and woke me up several times during the night when it turned on and off automatically. Moving the fan setting to on did not tell the AC to keep the fan running and I'm not going to fully turn off the AC because it's Florida and the room will become sticky quickly.

First room the ac did not work (did the staff not notice it was 86 degrees in the room while they got it prepared?) Second room the toilet was broken the water kept running non stop. Either way both rooms were clean but looked dated. We weren’t going to stick around for a third surprise. Now since we booked though a third party we are stuck in limbo between the doubletree hotel and Hotels.com trying to get my money back.
