I have stayed everywhere from the Comfort Inn to the Four Seasons. This hotel was MEH at best. The staff (except for one person) was not very friendly. They show beach chairs but you have to pay $30 for an afternoon for two. It calls itself a resort but honestly it is a slightly better motel. There was a 2x4 piece of unpolished unpainted piece of wood that doubled for a banister in the elevator. The room was MEH…not terrible clean not terrible dirty. For the price, I would not stay again.

Would have been perfect BUT...

Great place to stay if you want to be on the beach with a pool, pool service, bar/food etc. Only two criticisms, air conditioner is EXTREMELY loud, and the mattresses are hard as rocks and wrecked my poor husbands back. Loved the layout, shower, screened in balcony and pool service/restaurant/bar and proximity to the beach.

We loved our stay at Diamond Head. Our room was clean and spacious with a good view. Staff were helpful and friendly. The best things about the resort are the bar and restaurants on site and beach access. The only thing that seems to need repair is the slow elevators. Other than that everything was great!

Older property but recently renovated. SUPER CLEAN!! Excellent seafood restaurant onsite. Great walk up beach bar and grill!! Pool is a little small but backs up to the gorgeous white sands of the beach!! Every need is tended to! Area is still recovering from the hurricane but plenty of restaurants and souvenir shops to satisfy! Cannot say enough great things about our stay! Will definitely be back in the future!

The room was incredible. Elegant and oceanfront. The beach is gorgeous and has been replenished after Hurricane Ian 2 years ago. And the pool is heated. Poolside restaurant is good and reasonably priced though you can walk to others that are famous

2 elevators out of order the other two were very crowed and waited sometimes over 10 minutes for it. No cleaning done in rooms. Front desk unorganized gave misinformation many times. Was locked out of room after paying for an extra night and security for door was disconnected I have a disability and asked to have someone come and unlock door was told i had to get to the lobby. No breakfast on menus room service closed at 8pm. The food expensive and not good. The bar area staff was the best thing here and the servers were great.Bathroom in beach beach area had several stairs to get to. Complaints made were no addressed by anyone.

This place was great for Ft. Myers Beach. Had a nice, spacious room. We were on a road trip for one night, so didn't use the kitchenette. Staff was lovely and kind. Felt like a solid place and happy we stayed. It was a bedroom and living room/kitchen on the top floor. Happy.

Quieter area of the beach but still close to the party. Beach view pool, pooside bar and grill,game area with outdoor games like volleyball and cornhole, lots of tables with umbrellas right on the beach. Easy to rent beach chairs and umbrellas closer to the water. Rooms are well appointed with coffee maker, refrigerator, dishes and utensils. Publix grocery is just a short trolley ride down the beach and trolley stop is just a few steps away from the entrance of the resort. Bars and restaurants at Crescent Beach are a short walk away for those wanting a more lively environment.

The resort was right on the gulf. The pool area was really nice. Beach chairs were not included in the price of your stay and were available at a cost of $15 per day.
