The only reason that I didn't give it five stars was because the elevator wasn't working. But they had called me ahead of time to let me know so I appreciated that. I've stayed here before and it's a definite five star place. The rooms are nice and spacious and clean. There's a view from almost every room of the beach. Location could not be better. Right near Town Square. So awesome!

The Edison Beach house is very nice and in a beautiful location. I enjoyed my stay very much and management was very kind. The property is still going through some updates after the hurricanes. I would definitely stay again. The only down side is the elevator is currently out. Which I normally always take stairs anyways but it’s inconvenient if you’re trying to carry heavy luggage up and down the stairs. The first night the check in lady was telling everyone to take what they needed to there room and someone would help them with their luggage the next day. I witnessed numerous guests taking their heavy luggage up flights of stairs themselves. Some people who really shouldn’t be. My last day I was attempting to carry mine back down to my car and housekeeping stopped me. Said maintenance will help you down with that. I mentioned to management what happened the first night and she said the security guard is supposed to help guests up upon arrival. But the female security guard didn’t even offer and gave everyone walking in mean looks. I tried to say hi to her as I walked in and she didn’t respond. Just gave me a mean stare down. I was only on the 2nd floor, I managed to get my luggage up the stairs fine but other people especially on the upper floors shouldn’t be doing that on their own. I was warned about the elevator ahead of time when I called but I was also told someone would be here to help with luggage. When I told management they apologized.

Nice hotel in excellent location

Excellent location on beach and 200 yards from bars and restaurants. Being on 5th floor with elevators not working was difficult with luggage etc, but amazing views. Room facilities good. Grounds well maintained. Nice pool

Great location!! We loved it so much, we stayed another night!! The AC's worked well in all rooms, everything was very clean as well, will full kitchens. The beds were comfy, and they provided an air mattress for our party of 5 as well. Very nice, accommodating, staff. The elevator shaft was in repair, so we had to use the stairs (5th floor was somewhat rough for some guests), but staff was available to help carry things up. They had beach chairs to use as well, if you werent able to bring your own. We will definitely stay here again.

We were at Edison in October and loved the atmosphere and staff so we came back for a short visit this past weekend! It was amazing to seen the improvements made from hurricane Helene in such a short period. I also would love to give a shout out to Anne for making check in less stressful since we weren’t arriving to hotel until 1:00am. She made it a smooth process.

If you’re a fancy pants traveler don’t stay here. If you’re a beach life person stay here. Large apartment-like room…large living space/kitchen area, 2 bedrooms (one with 2 beds), 2 bathrooms with showers, full kitchen, washer and dryer. There is no lobby, drinks, snacks, etc. so just went to Walmart and ABC and got all the food and drinks we needed. Great beach but could have used large beach umbrellas and chairs but they were for rent next beach over 300’ away. More of an apartment feel than hotel, definitely better than hotel experience. Lots of places within walking distance (bars, restaurants, beach shops). Took a gamble staying here especially post-hurricane but great decision.

The folks at Edison Beach House were super friendly and helpful! We loved it and will be back! Amazing views, dolphin watching from our balcony, and perfect beach access! Loved our pool time too!

We had a great stay at Edison! Fast and easy checkin, clean rooms, friendly staff. The only thing I would suggest is a second ice machine on one of the floors ans speeding up the elevator. Other than that I would not heditate bringing my family back

Love the architecture. Parking free. Had a beach view balcony. Second floor guest blasting music 'til 11pm one weeknight. Otherwise, always very quiet. Cozy clean room with bonus kitchen. Balcony doors require strength to open: Need disassembly to remove grit/squeak. Delightful shower. Reception employee, Annie, a gem. Will stay here again.
