Great room for family of 4. We had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms so lots of room. Kitchen had the basics but could be better stocked. There were only 5 forks, 5 spoons, etc so we were doing dishes often. Perfect location right on the beach. They had chairs you could borrow for free which was great. The only negative was that we couldn’t use the pool all week due to maintenance and no one emailed in advance to let us know.

Edison Beach House was awesome!! Our room had everything we could need, and a great view of the beach!! The staff was very friendly and accomodating when we had a delayed arrival. The only negative in regard to the property was related to unfortunate timing on our part because the new pool was closed for maintenance, and the water was shut off for a few hours for work on the property. The property is close to nearby restaurants. The damage from Hurricane Ian is still very obvious in the area and recovery is in process. There are no beach chairs available to take closer to the shore, so bring your own beach chairs/umbrellas if that's your thing. We loved our stay!!!!

Fort Meyers beach is still recovering from Ian and subsequent hurricanes. There is still construction in the area and the beach restoration project. Edison beach house is still working on their pool. We had a marvelous time and walkable eating options are coming back. The beaches are stunning as are the sunsets!

The location is excellent. The property needs some update. The couch did not open. The kitchen was newer and nice. The balcony was very nice, but the door at the balcony was a little rusty. The staff overall were okay. There was construction going on, the pool was not functioning. In the morning there was a lot of noise from somebody blowing the sand of the walk side. There is no late check out. They offered to hold our bags and stay on the property, but since the pool was not available and everything was closed for construction, there was nowhere to sit or stay.

We had an ocean front view. With the full kitchen we enjoyed breakfast in the room with lots of relaxing time overlooking the beach. The room was clean and had a very warm atmosphere. We loved it!

Really nice apartment style unit right on the beach. A bit dated, but for the price and location, no complaints. Free on site parking. Pool is not currently operational, which we didn't realize when we booked. I think they are working on getting it back up and running.

Had an excellent stay at the Edison Beach House. The hurricane hit the area, and the hotel hard but both are well on their way to recovery. The hotel pool is under construction. Our room was advertised as partial ocean view but offered expansive views from the windows and balcony. The room was super clean and comfortable with all necessities. Right on the beach and a short walk to restaurants and bars.

It was an absolute pleasure to stay the week at the Edison Beach House! It was quiet, clean, and every single person who worked there was helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to make our stay amazing. The beds in our room were SO comfortable—and I am very particular. There is plenty of beach equipment to borrow each day, and I can’t express how perfect the location is! Every room has a clear view of the gulf. Oh, and there is a very nice elevator and luggage carts to get all of your items and groceries up quickly. Have fun!
