Nice remodel!

They have remodeled this place and it was really nice! The 1 bedroom suite was bigger and nicer than I expected. Bed was comfortable, room was clean, balcony was great. The location is perfect, right on the beach and easy walk to restaurants. Fun vibe. Recommend.

We enjoyed the location of the property as we could easily walk to restaurants & shops. The beach was beautiful and well taken care of. The pool was warm & clean and not overly crowded. It would’ve been nice to have a broom on hand in the room due to all the sand being tracked in. Also the DJ music was loud at times. Overall a great place to stay!

Great value!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! I was honestly a bit skeptical after reading some of the negative reviews before our trip. We could not relate to one of them. We were greeted and helped graciously from all the staff, bartender, host at check in, beach staff, all wonderful. The rooms were clean, average in decor but comfortable. The beds were cozy. Every room has a beach view with balcony. Didn’t see one bug. AC worked and dehumidifier in the room is helpful in the humid Florida environment. The prices for food and drink were more than reasonable and really good! Lani Kai was wiped out just over 2 years ago from hurricane Ian. It was comforting to see this family owned business be able to rebuild and get back on their feet. It is not at 100 capacity yet, as they are still renovating the roof top restaurant/bar and not all the rooms are complete but they are working hard to accommodate. We would definitely return.

Property was in a good location however, staff was not friendly and the man that patrols. The pool in the parking lot was rude to my son who had moved a chair over 1 foot to get out of the sun. He said he needed to move the chair back and when my son moved it back to where he found it he said that wasn't the right spot again unfriendly and rude zero customer service at that spot.

Check in was easy and all staff was friendly. The hotel room was updated with new appliances and light-lined bathroom mirrors that were adjustable by type of light. The spacious living area opened with double sliding doors to an absolutely beautiful beachfront view. Once over the bridge, finding the hotel is quick so you’re not sitting in traffic for too long. Thankfully they have additional parking because the main parking area is typically full. The location is within walking distance to many food and drink options. There’s a bar on the ground level that offers a DJ until 10p, so beware if you’re planning an early morning. Overall, highly recommend! I’ll be back!

I DIDN'T LIKE HOW WE COULD NOT BRING OUR LITTLE COOLER WITH ICE AND BOTTLED WATER ONTO THE BEACH YET OTHER PEOPLE WERE BRINGING COOLERS ON THE BEACH. ALSO NO DOGS ALLOWED ON THE BEACH. THAT I LIKED BUT NO ENFORCEMENT OF THE RULE. I WAS ON THE BEACH 6 HOURS AND COUNTED 12 DOGS RUNNUING AROUND AND CRAPING IN THE SAND! THE MUSIC BEING PLAYED AT THE OUTDOOR BAR WAS TO LOUD. TO MUCH BASS. UNFORTUNETLYOUR ROOM WAS ON THE 2ND FLOOR RIGHT ABOVE THE BAR.

Glad to have the Lani Kai reopened after Hurricane Ian and the devastating destruction. Rooms are totally renovated, clean and a really nice layout. We had a great view of the beach and the Gulf. This was a huge major undertaking to remove all of the debris caused by Ian, and then to rebuild literally everything. Staff were really friendly. Looking forward to Island View being open next.

The Lani Kai Resort has beautiful rooms that have balconies that overlook the gulf. The resort is clean and the staff was friendly. The location was awesome. Walkable to restaurants and bars. The restaurant on site served amazing food! The breakfast cafe is reasonably priced and delicious! We were so glad we chose to stay here!!!

Location was perfect right on the beach and close to everything! Clean and safe property with great restaurants that were currently open. Downside was we specifically asked several times before our arrival for our rooms to be as far from the bar and DJ outside as possible. When we checked in our rooms were right above the Bar and DJ and when we complained they said there was nothing they could do deposing our notes in the system. Also, don’t forget to ask for your 2 bottles of water daily as it’s not given freely you have to ask at the desk. My recommendation is they have coffee and or water offered in the lobby at all times.
