Property was good still a lot of construction going on to repair damage from the hurricane. Staff was very nice great service overall experience was nice and easy walkable to pool and the private beach.
AFTER confirming my non-cancelable booking, they sent me an email saying they have 'limited' facilities and some of the elevators may not work from time to time -
Limited? No restaurants, portable toilets, nothing available except a bar at the pool
Elevators? ALL the elevators are not working ALL the time - I am awaiting surgery for my knees - they made me walk up 4 flights of stairs carrying my luggage.
The place looks more like a building site than a resort.
AND - AND - they add a high 'Resort fee' to the bill then they add a 'property fee'
Are you kidding me? There should be a DISCOUNT for the lack of facilities, lack of elevators, lack of consideration for paying customers.

Our time at South Seas was great! Yes they are still rebuilding some areas and adding on more amenities, but we still had a great time. We stayed at a beach villa which was i. Pristine condition and very comfortable for our family of four. The marina side pools and slides were very fun and in great shape. The service we recieved was top notch. We were also provided a smores kit upon check in for the kids to use at their fire pit at night. Highly recommend this resort on Captiva.

All good just execpt the A/C was kot working properly
The property is still recovering from the hurricane but it is in good condition and our room was clean and comfortable. The restaurants on the property have not opened yet but they have a couple of food trucks (burgers and tacos). The staff were friendly and accommodating.
It was an amazing 5 days with South Seas for our 20th wedding anniversary. The room was great and even though they are still rebuilding from the hurricane, the resort was comfortable and the amenities accessible. Also having a room to cook was great and there are two options to pick up groceries on Captiva 2-3 min away from South Seas. We had a small issue with our A/C not cooling well in the living room. A leak was found and addressed quickly on a Monday morning. We will book again

They are still rebuilding from the hurricane not everything is up to par but overall had a nice stay
SouthSeas is still recovering from Hurricane Ian, but that did not stop our family from having an amazing stay in Captiva! The beach is gorgeous and spans over 2 miles, the trolley allows for transportation throughout the resort and renting a golf cart allowed for us to cruise through town! We will definitely be back!
