We telephoned ahead as we were running late. The desk clerk was very very nice and polite. He was still on duty when we arrived and very accommodating. We will definitely stay again !

Late check in was a breeze. Towels and bedding were clean and comfy. Everything was up to our satisfaction on our roadtrip stop. They even had good breakfast the morning after our check in.

I need write reviews. I drve a Pilot Car form California thru Louisiana.. i use Hotels.com about 15 days a month fot my bookings mostly because convenience and price. I always read customer reviews before I book. I read the reviews for Days Inn Fort Stockton in disbelief. No way a $70.00/2 Star Hotel be "all that". To my surprise this Hotel was "ALL THAT and MORE. Friendly and easy checkin, VERY CLEAN UPDATED ROOM, comfortable bed and safe well lit parking. I will definitely stay here again.

The property is conveniently located near restaurants and shopping. The room we were assigned has a problem with the hot water and we had to contact the front office a couple of times about it. Apparently there was an issue with the boiler and we were instructed to leave the hot water on for longer than 5 minutes to see if it would get hot. If not they said we could change rooms. Glad that it finally started getting hot because didn’t want to go thru hassle of changing rooms with my two elderly parents.

The front desk person upon check could care less at check in. Also didn’t feel safe. We decided not to stay we drove up late about 10:30pm and they do NOT have elevators. This appears to be a previous Motel 6 type. Someone was hanging out on the balcony checking cars coming in and out. Just a weird vibe over all.

Last minute

For a quick short stay to wait out storm & get little rest from business trip not bad. Some small things could use repair but didn’t really affect stay. Will say use caution in shower as was slippery not just me husband said so too when he showered next morning. Someone could easily fall if not careful specially an elderly person.

I travel through Fort Stockton several times a year and I stay here. In the perfect location for me to just get off and back on the next morning and on my way. It’s an older place but it works for me.
