Nice place

Strangely, we had stayed in the RV park behind the hotel 23 years ago and I don't remember a hotel being there at that time. More to the point, the room was recently renovated and the bathroom was definitely 5 stars. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

This is a great place to stay. It was close to the state park and to the McDonald Observatory. They have a washer and dryer available to use - just bring quarters and your laundry detergent. It was clean and comfortable for our family!

If you want quiet and off the beaten parh, this is the place! Stayed for a week and was perfect! Basic amenties in the room and no loud crowds. Just waking up surrounded by mountains, with nothing but sunrises and sunsets. Free breakfast every morning, and then off to explore! Local cuisine and groceries less then 2 miles away, ..LOVED THIS PLACE!

Very comforting and clean. Slept well on cozy mattress and nice bedding, extra plush pillows, had plush towels, nice ac, darkening curtains, spacious, quiet clientele, and mnmgt took pride in the cleanliness and appearance. Just enough for the weekend

Check in was OK. Nothing to it. Parked right in front of my room. Staff was nice and helpful. Room was good but not great. Found a bug in my bed at 12:30 am. NOT GOOD! But, out there what do you expect?
