It was quiet and conveniently close to the interstate. Breakfast was okay, usual continental. Room, used hand soap next to sink, disgusting with no option of a new bar. Thankfully i had my own toiletries. Shelf in shower area missing and apparently torn from the wall and no attempt to repair.

Big Bend Hotel Choice
It was a last minute decision to stay in this hotel and I am glad we did! The room was beyond our expectations for the price we paid! Very clean and spacious. Has everything we need.

Staff very nice. Needs education for environmental staff. Black hair on floor, dirty wash cloth on the side of tube. Water bottle left in freezer. Those things should have been clean . Staff very nice. Good price. Only one bar of soap.

Keep looking somewhere else
This is a place where you never want to take off your shoes. Our room wasn't very clean and there was a gardened towel hanging on the shower curtain that looks like someone used it to wash a dog.

Less than one star
Bed sheets and pillow cases were not clean. They smelled like someone had slept in them. The shower walls were disgusting. They had yellow stuff smeared on them. Shower curtain was dirty/black instead of white. Men’s pubes and women’s long hair on the floor. The main light in the room did not work. Gnats in the room trying to get in my nose. One did and I never got it out. I was so disgusted that I accidentally made my nose bleed from trying to clean it out. The only hot items for breakfast were hard boiled eggs. Limited items for sure.

The room was 60° when I walked in. I know it’s still warm out there, but it took me two hours to defrost the room and then to my surprise. There is no toilet paper. I am located on the far side of the hotel lobby and was told that if I needed toilet paper, I could go get it at the front desk, what a joke !

Y’all this is a budget hotel. It was a solid three stars. It’s right off the highway which is nice. The beds, floors and tv’s have been updated but you can still tell the building is old. The bathroom and all doors are in need of renovation. Housekeeping could have been better. The walls are pretty thin. I’m glad everyone also wanted to sleep so there was minimal noise. As far as facilities there is continental breakfast which is included. There were things like boiled egg, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, bread, bagels, and a waffle iron in the shape of Texas. The pool is filled in with dirt so no swimming here. This night stay got the job done. If you’re looking for luxury please seek that elsewhere.

Very nice place to stay for the price!
Nice and spacious room. King size bed was very comfortable. Lots of counter space and plenty of lighting. Lots of electrical outlets too! Very nice front desk person. Continental breakfast had a little of everything very clean and attendant was on site for any assistance

We had to get a pet room because we were traveling with my dog, but it’s the worst room I’ve ever stayed in. I’m now in Mexico and this place with a pet stay is so much better than one in the Tx, speaks volumes. I get it, it’s a pet room but the floor was just so bad. Darker tile would show less, and might help.

As always i rate properties on what i payed and what i anticipate the room to be like. In this case i was pleasantly surprised. The room was huge, more like a suite with a full size fridge and kitchenette style counter. It was not only the least expensive room of our ten day trip around the countrybut by far the nicest room.

Cats, cats ,cats everywhere. In you’re vehicle, under you're vehicle , at the stairs and at you’re room. 1030 maid service walks in without knocking on my wife. 1000 am the keys were deactivated so one of us had to stay by the door and let the other person in.
