Picture are not up to date on what to expect. Yes they are remolding and I understand they are trying but still wasn’t satisfied. Then if you want fresh sheets or house keeping. You'll have to pay a $1.06 each time is what I was told checking in. If you’re looking for a bed to get rest for a night then be my guess. Just wasn’t a cozy environment for the weekend

Our deadbolt wouldn’t lock. The sweet girl at the desk did all she could but the hotel was full so there were no other rooms to move to. Thankfully I keep a door jamb lock and personal protection so we stayed but we won’t be back.

This place is an OK place to stay if you are just looking for a place to stay a few nights. We booked a 1 bedroom suite not a deluxe suit they put us in. When I asked the front desk about getting the correct room she informed me that they didn’t even have those rooms. That also goes along with them advertising they have a pool. They do but it was green and unusable, they are apparently getting rid of it permanently. They make you pay to change your towels out and you can’t get more until the next day. The hallways stink and there are very weird people walking around late at night. The ice machine didn’t work so we couldn’t use that, and they also charge you $60 I believe if you want to use their dishes for your room and another fee in you want pans. None of this was on their website. I wouldn’t recommend staying here, I wish I would have paid a little more money for a better hotel.

The day I checked in there were garbage bags in the hallway, in the stairwell and next to the door to my room...Also, there was dirty laundry, socks and dirty t-shirts thrown in the hallway next to some of the rooms. This stuff sat in the hallways for days, as I stayed here for 10 days while working in the area. I tried and tried, even spent a lot of time on the phone with the "tech support" and was never able to access the "free wifi" Awful...worst place I have stayed in almost 30 years of working on the road all over the U.S.

The good , the staff was good . The bad , constant key card issues, several times a day , vending machines not functional, pool green with algae. Shady characters around building. Expected much better, I’ve stayed at other extended stay motels and had absolutely no issues. This place was is a dump . Pay the extra 50 and stay somewhere decent

The location of the hotel was great. It’s in the middle of the beautiful beaches and the boardwalk. It’s also very close to restaurants, fast food places and grocery stores. The only thing is that the hotel is outdated. The rooms are spacious but not great. It’s good for a quick stay but not longer than 3 nights.

I would recommend this property for a stay in Destin. The rooms were nice and equipped with microwaves, refrigerators, and stoves. The staff was very helpful and greeted us when we walked through the door.

Overall, it was overpriced for the property. The only good thing is its location, but even then there were a lot of strange people loitering outside the building. There was also a constant smell of marijuana and very noisy neighbors. There was also no night attendant, so I’m not too sure who you’re supposed to call if you have any issues throughout the night. They also claimed they were out of the usual complementaries: shampoo, lotion, etc. The best part of this hotel was the staff and how polite they were.

For what we paid, we were not expecting such run down conditions or half or everything was broken. No pool (out of order?), no ice machine (broken?), no utelsinls whatesoever in the room...which we counted on b/c of the kitchenette aspect. We checked out and went to a nicer hotel for down the road for a better price.

We paid for a room and we did not stay because the smell of urine was so strong. The further you go the worse the smell gets. We are currently trying to get our money back. Also, there is no pool.

The staff made the hotel stay nice. There are some “interesting people” who loiter around the facility. We didn’t get any shampoo. I didn’t know there was a $100 deposit fee. We came to Destin on a budget so that wasn’t expected. The staff seem to really want the hotel to do well so they made the stay nice. There isn’t a 24 hour front desk so we did feel unsafe at night. It was nice to be locked into the hotel. We could get in and out with our hotel card. The location is excellent. It may help if they had a gated community. We enjoyed our trip.
