If you want quiet, don't stay here. It is on a major highway and right next door to a go-kart track, and on the flight path of nearby airport. The room was clean with balcony on third floor and you could see the water. The outdoor pool was refreshing and not crowded. The spa/hot tub was luke. The ceiling in the room was peeling and the fan was rusted but functional and quiet. The ice machines were on the second and fourth floors but the one on the second floor was out of order. Breakfast was sketchy. No creamer for coffee. Had to get milk from the cereal area. The hot water for tea or instant oatmeal was not even warm. There were two unleashed dogs running around in the breakfast area with the owners not paying attention. Would not recommend.

The staff is great and very helpful. Unfortunately, our plane was early way before checkin could happen...they managed to get us in a little before normal checkin. Very friendly.

Nice hotel

Overall it was a good hotel. Will we stay again? Probably not. Needs the amenities updated (bigger fridge, new dressers, etc.) The air conditioner could’ve been quieter and colder and need blackout drapes for the balcony rooms but outside of that it was okay.

We arrived in Destin on a whim and had no place to stay. I went to hotels.com and found Summer Inn. The staff was very friendly and the room was nice. The hotel was conveniently located but not right on the beach.

The staff was helpful, pools were clean, room was clean. The small refrigerator did not have a freezer. We are vegan so breakfast was limited for us, but for most people it was likely adequate (eggs, biscuits, waffles, juice, instant oatmeal, a could of cooked cereals. The beach was a couple minutes away by car. The public beaches had restrooms.

There was no off leash area, no ocean view, we got the wrong room and we weregiven am occupied room befpre weeere given the qrong one, the bathtub doeant allow baths, the breakfast was poor quality and the staff unhelpful and ucaring about our happiness. Noone eber responded to our efforts to get help.

The breakfast i was not happy with and our bathroom fan made a loud noise when we took a shower the young ladies working the front look like they had no personality. We needed towels and I called to see if they could have someone bring us some and the front desk lady said we could come get them from her or wait til someone could come to us which I’m not sure how long that would’ve taken the place didn’t look like what we saw on the internet. I’m sorry but that place was not what we expected

Great place and location

Nice place an great location. We had a good stay. The only con I could point out was I wanted to take a bath but they didn’t have tub stoppers for their tubs.

I love this place but new management has come in and they suck at customer service. Make sure you schedule your whole stay all at once cause they will not waive the deposit. They force you to make a deposit again each time it’s extended without making sure people have received it back. I don’t know why they refuse to carry over the deposit I’m out 400 dollars for staying 4 days it’s not ok. I won’t be going back for this reason
