It is an older property but was just what we needed for a nights sleep. The lobby is decorated like it’s an old mansion from the 1940’s, complete with a screened in porch outside. Very different for a hotel. Our room was comfortable with a chair and ottoman and bathroom was quite large. Breakfast was ok… we’ve had way worse! 😆

So the facilities are beautiful. The woodwork was gorgeous. The building is gorgeous. The grounds were pretty, but the smell of smoke in the room was so overwhelming that all my clothing and luggage smells so badly like cigarettes smoke. As a non-smoker, it was pretty overwhelming.
