The Garrison is a well kept Inn. Our room was pretty small but was comfortable. Not the cheapest place, but in a small town with limited choices and alot of tourists moving through daily it served its purpose.

It is exactly what you look for in a budget hotel option but I do wish it was a little bit less expensive given the offering. It isn't overly nice or updated but it is generally clean and in a great location for walking to things downtown.

Everything was great except the size of the room which was too small. Additionally, their parking lot is limited so had to go part at a public parking.

We had a very pleasant stay at The Garrison. The hotel was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The rooms were nicely presented, and the overall atmosphere was much more modern than many hotels in the area. The only downside was the parking situation. There is no dedicated parking, and during our stay there were dumpsters, construction equipment, and machinery nearby due to ongoing work in the area, which made arrival and parking a bit inconvenient. That said, the cleanliness, comfort, and service made for an enjoyable stay. I would happily stay here again and would recommend it to others visiting the area

We used this hotel as a place to sleep for which it was excellent. About 10 to 15 minute walk from the station which for us was great (when not raining). We didn't have breakfast only because we prefer to sample local cafés of which there are a few very close.
