Very Good

Wonderful location and the hotel Director and the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. The hotel is right on the beach with fantastic views across Cap Coz. This hotel is part of a small chain and they should invest in upgrading the restaurant. We had a perfectly good dinner one night but with the location and views it could be a destination of choice for people wanting to eat who are not staying at the hotel.
A lovely, relaxing stay.
The hotel is in a fantastic location. The sea facing room with a balcony was superb. Breakfast was fine. Staff variable in terms of friendliness and efficiency. Bar area rather poor in terms of being not particularly well looked after, which is a shame.
My husband and I stayed in the Mona Lisa hotel mid May. It is situated in a really lovely spot right on the beach and we loved been able to have breakfast on the terrace looking at the sea! Breakfast was good, a lovely buffet with plenty to eat . We also ate dinner there which was fairly good, service was slow as there was only one member of staff serving in the dining room! The bedrooms are clean and comfortable! All in all we would stay here again
We had stayed at this hotel a years ago, and re-booked it. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and were told that there was no kitchen and hence no evening meal. We went to our bedroom on the third floor and were greeted with a pungent drain smell - not good at all. Next we found that the wi-fi did not reach all parts of the hotel. Talking to a member of staff, she told us that the hotel was a bit tired and old, I certainly would not disagree with that statement. Although the hotel is right on the beach, we will not be re-visiting it again.
This was a great hotel right on the beach. Very comfortable - the restaurant was wonderful for both breakfast and lunch. We'd definitely stay here again.
a wonderful time - not quite as envisaged because of a cold wind. fabulous position right on beautiful sandy beach with glorious views across the bay. lovely terrace, good restaurant.
staff really nice and friendly. a very good choice.
The position of the hotel was just great as it was right on the beach, but the added bonus was the fantastic food in the restaurant, will definitely go back there again.
The room is classed as a "Junior Room" and is uncomfortably small. Expensive hotel and especially for the size of the bedroom is extremely expensive. Irish hotels are so much better and classier. Only good thing about the hotel was location on beach. Staff not very nice and restaurant too expensive. No atmosphere in hotel and very quiet. Wouldn't recommend. When I asked about upgrade of room for 4 nights was told it would be an extra Euro 165!! Would recommend Irish hotels as a superior option.
Great hotel position facing the nice sandy beach. Reasonable restaurant (but bad choice of music). Our room was small and noisy (external air conditioner ??) but OK for the price.
This is a very nice hotel, well situated next to the beach, and the staff are very helpful. What lets it down is the very poor selection for breakfast. The restaurant is nolonger part of the hotel and meals have to be paid for seperately. Compared with other hotels we have stayed in, then the prices charged at this hotel for breakfast can only be described as a "rip-off".
Located virtually on the beach, the Hotel could not be better situated, and along with very helpful and accommodating staff, made my stay a very enjoyable one - the restaurant which is part of the Hotel building, but run independently, provided food of the highest quality and with a terrace to dine on, the experience was excellent - certainly a Hotel to visit again !!
Quiet well situated hotel, excellent friendly staf
Excellent location and friendly staff, We had a room overlooking Cap Coz's panoramic beach- watching the sea and listening to the waves at night. Did not have evening meal but breakfast was good. The lounge bar in the evening a good place to relax. The venue was excellent-on the beach. We stayed two days had one rainy day and one sunny day. Facilities in Cap Coz aren't extensive but there are three good cafes on or near the beach and a gourmet restaurant at the other end of the road. There is a long panoramic beach and two excellent walks-one across the cliffs and shorl to Beg Meil and one around the estuary to Foret Foesnant where the new marina is worth a visit. Foesnant, the little village above Cap Coz is also worth a visit-particularly market day ( Friday).
