close to urban bus terminal

the location of the hotel is really strategic, with restaurants money exchange and bus terminal to iguazu within walking distance.staff can speak simple english, rooms is perfectly modern and clean!

perfect for visiting the falls, dam and Paraguay

One person at the desk spoke english and french and he was a big support for us to visit the aerea. Close to the busstation is a big adventage. So our stay was very good

mediocre hotel

The hotel was clean and the breakfast was great. The room was small and our window faced the street - and it was noisy! It was a good thing I had ear plugs from my flight or I wouldn't have slept at all. The windows are thin, single pane glass. We stayed here because we had two children with us and it was one of a very few hotels we could find that all four of us could sleep in the same room.

No frills but good

Located very close to the terminal central bus station (2 blocks) and around the corner from the main shopping district. Excellent churrascaria located 2 blocks to the west (Churrascaria do Gaúcho) for R$20 per person that includes an icre cream buffet. Hotel is extremely basic, and yes, there is NOT an elevator as others have mentioned. They also do not give you any shampoo. Aside from that, the AC unit is very strong and will cool the room in a mere minute or two. The TV quality sucks. The bed was ok and lots of blankets were provided.

Quite satisfied

There was nothing special about the Villa Canoas Hotel, but it met all of my needs during my stay. The hotel was conveniently located near the city bus station which made travel around the city and to nearby cities in Argentina and Paraguay quite easy. There is also good shopping along nearby Brasil Street which leads into downtown. There was a good selection at breakfast. Staff was quite helpful. Air conditioning was satisfactory and hot water always available. The bed was a little short with the sheets being inadequate for the bed. I slept pretty well although there was street noise from loud cars and loud audio systems.

Fui colocada em um quarto no térreo minúsculo, ao lado do salão de alimentação, no dia seguinte mudamos de quarto, maior, porém, as tomadas só funcionavam se as luzes ficassem acessas, até chequei com a recepção, porém o atendente disse que no domingo só ele tranalhava e não haveria como resolver, secador fica na recepção e não no quarto, e havia um único adaptador de tomada, inacreditável, ao solicitar o ferro de passar roupa, fui encaminhada para uma lavanderia e o ferro super aqueceu e estava muito sujo, não tive como usar, enfim, alguns contratempos tão básicos mas o suficiente para baixar demais a avaliação, não acho que volto ao hotel.

ótimo em tudo

muito boa, tomaram cuidado com meu carro alugado, fiquei pouco no hotel, mas teve um dia que fiquei jogando no Paraguai, perdi a hora do café da manhã, e deixaram eu tomar. Por sinal, a funcionária de apoio do café é uma fofa, se derrete em atenção. Pelo preço que paguei, atenção dos funcionários, como vou muito para FOZ, vou virar cliente.
