We had a welcome sign in our window when we arrived. Room was ready for us well ahead of bormal check-in time. I love the old, vintage touches!! Super conveniently located to spend the day @ Franconia Notch SP. Pool was still open & hot tub was really warm.

Beautiful view but won’t stay again

Booked a last minute trip and showed up to check in to find no one working. Called the number on the office door to be met with annoyance that I had made a booking online which they were unaware of. Luckily it was for only the one night so it wasn’t a big deal for me. The place was a bit run down but the one redeeming quality was the view from the room. You could see all mountains unobstructed. Beautiful.

This is an older property. When we first arrived, I was skeptical from the outside. My family, who is use to staying in commercial hotel chains, thought I lost my mind, but THE VIEW (wow...breathtaking)!!!!! The room was clean, beds were comfy, bathroom was clean (dated, but that was okay...we got to let our kids experience a colored bathroom). The hotel was close to a near by town so we could grab dinner easily. It was close to our destination of the Flume Gorge, which was spectacular! We'd stay here again. Check in and check out was a breeze!

The cabin was very well appointed and clean. It is just getting over mud season so the grounds were not in spring condition yet but very neat. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Would stay there again.
