This property is in an extremely bad area. DO NOT stay here if you are traveling as a woman Or anybody really. People right outside the hotel were super scary. Everywhere. Locals call them zombies.

+ = hotel reception is very nice and trendy, staff had good English, good housekeeping. - = while the location is very close to the train station, I have never felt so unsafe trying to come and go from a hotel. There were lots of people loitering outside the hotel on the street. The wifi in my bedroom was shocking, I have never experienced as bad before. I did bring this to a hotel staff member's attention but apparently this has not been an issue before now. I was awoken by the noise ion police vehicles during the night which is not ideal. The complementary bathing gel in the shower was in a container called handsoap which seemed unusual. The hallway to the room was very outdated and carpet was heavily stained.

The area around the property is surrounded by people trying to sell you narcotics and asking for money. Property is located at the front of the Frankfurt Red Light District so be aware about walking around at night. Hotel was clean, but tired. Staff were okay on check in (nobody could be found, took around 5 minutes for someone to appear) and then I was awoken by the cleaner trying to enter my room at 7am, and when I asked her what she was doing, she asked me what time I expected to leave because she had to rush. (Not an ideal question when you've booked a hotel to relax, and not feel rushed out..) I won't return to Frankfurt, and especially that area of Frankfurt if I did. The best part about it, the rail station is across the road to leave.
