A Good Traditional Hotel

A friendly traditional hotel with high standards of cleanliness and good service. Breakfasts and dinners were excellent but the toilet cistern in our first floor room took some 15 minutes to refill causing some problems.

Third time I have stayed here, and there is no other hotel I would use when staying in the area. You get a lovely welcome, rooms are very modern, and clean, food is absolutely first class, I have never had a bad meal here, and the breakfast really sets you up for the day. Can't recommend this hotel enough.

The owners granddaughter Sherilyn was so lovely. There was an issue with the shower, only very hot water. She addressed and rectified the situation in a matter of minutes.

Upon arrival I was welcomed and checked in. I had dinner which was good pub food. Room was clean and tidy. The decor is perhaps a little tired but doesn’t bother me. Breakfast was included. Full Scottish was lovely. Not greasy at all and good sized portion. If I’m in the area I would stay again.

Fantastic hotel which I would very happily stay for longer at. Food was fantastic and very reasonable price. Staff all friendly and rooms were amazing. One of the comfiest beds I have slept in for a while.
