Check-in and checkout was easy and the ac worked ok. That's what was good, but it could never outweigh all the things that were wrong. The mattress had a sunken section, the pillows weren't pillows, but appeared to be rags stuffed pillowcases. The maid service was left a generous tip but didn't even bother making the bed and the floor couldn't possibly have been mopped anytime recently because after walking on them without shoes, my feet became filthy. The drain in the tub shower was slow. The luggage rack was rusty and unusable. There appeared to be a homeless population living out back and taking advantage of the complimentary breakfast. The security latch on the door was loose. The furniture was worn and ragged. Hopefully this place will get a complete overhaul. Until it does, absolutely stay away!

While the staff were wonderful and friendly, the room itself lacked any Quality that is in the name. The room was bordeline filthy. After showering and walking from the bathroom to the bed, the bottoms of my feet were black and dirty. I can live without updating and modernization, but there is simply no excuse uncleanliness.

Our sheets were blood stained and oil stained. To make matters worse those sheets looked like they had been laundries but put on the bed stained. Who would do that. So filthy. I would not want my animals to sleep in those conditions. Had I known this the night before I would have slept in my car. I felt dirty for days afterwards.

Not sure how they got a GOOD rating

Location was convenient, but old/outdated and mediocre describes this hotel. People were friendly, but poor housekeeping and didn't even make up the rooms, had to ask for extra towels (bath towels were almost hand towels). "Breakfast" was a joke. Price was primary factor in staying here, but next time I will pay the extra to stay somewhere else.

Breakfast area was not maintained, no food available when we went to eat. Emergency light units in corridors were inoperable (I'm a fire safety guy). Creepy staff member asked my wife what room she was staying in while they on the elevator. Elevator door opened into the laundry room on several occasions. Building is generally old and worn out.

Beware

There were problems with everything. First key didn't work. Then AC was off and difficult to get working. Staff was not of much assistance. Internet was spotty and staff blamed my MAC computer. No problem with my MAC in the lobby by the front desk though. Breakfast was on the horrible side. Tub faucet leaked. Hot and Cold water were opposite of normal. At least elevator worked (but I was on first floor). The other time I was there it was broken and I was on second floor. As one of my friends said - you get what you pay for. Okay if you don't bring your wife and you are used to camping.

The microwave had mold in it and refrigerator was dirty inside. There was patching on the walls poorly done. One of the front desk clerk’s was very rude and dismissive toward my husband when he asked for an extra room key card. Advertisement said 5 adults could fit but we didn’t fit comfortably so we left.
