Shower head could be replaced. Not enough pressure. Toilet bowl wouldn’t flush. Had to take off cover and manually flush it. This is room specific. Overall the place was nice and clean.

The property is a little dated and the room smelled musty as we entered on our arrival. After the a/c ventilated the room a bit, the smell dissipated. The bottom of the tub was worn and a bit discolored. The amenities were welcome and the clerk gave me a complimentary toothbrush as I had forgotten my own. The complimentary breakfast offered variety and deliciousness. The staff was professional if not friendly. This is an average lodging but for a total of $170 thru Expedia- I expected more.

Young man named Jess who helped me both on the phone and with check in. Recognized me as a gold member with Choice Hotels even though I didn’t realize when I made the reservation that hotel was a choice member. Coffee was good and fresh. Had enough coffee in the room without having to go to breakfast bar. Employees were very kind and helpful. Close to the hospital.

Next room had lots of arguing,screamingcalled front desk they stopped for a while but continued till late in the night. I had brought my grand children for spring break Then we found big inch and a half cockroaches between beds. We never thought such could happen in Fredricksburg. I could not get a manager to help I was informed she would not be in for two days. This is very unprofessional.

Quick Trip

Overall it was ok. Would’ve been great that the guy at the front desk wasn’t coughing all over the place when checking us in. Breakfast was pretty decent but being spring break they could have extended the time to at least 9:30am on the weekday. The shower head needed a good cleaning and it made a lot of noise every time we turned it on. The shower area just needs to be redone. It seemed pretty old. And I don’t think they mopped as part of their “cleaning” routine. There were a few sprinkles of water on the floor after showering so I wiped it with a little bit of toilet paper and when I looked at it the paper was so dirty. There shouldn’t be that much black stuff on the paper if they actually cleaned all the tile floors properly. Anyways, will be staying elsewhere on our next visit.
