Staff were very friendly. The continental breakfast was good. We stayed in The Blue House which was an older home that has been converted to rooms. It is older so don’t expect modern amenities, but cute and very quaint. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

The room didn’t have heating. We ended up having to sleep in the living room instead of the bedrooms do to no heater. The thermostat was reading 63 degrees. The living room was the only place that had heat because of the fireplace. We alerted the front office and nothing was done to fix this problem.

The upstairs family used up all the hot water so we had only cold water to shower with. Despite putting the no service sign on the door someone came into the room. The upstairs family also staid up late past 12:30am with the tv on extremely loud.

The lighting throughout the room was harsh and fluorescent rather than warm and inviting. While the water pressure in the room was good, we experienced issues with hot water. The bed was uncomfortable and creaked with movement. A sign in the room stated the AC could not be set below 70°F due to risk of freezing, which limited temperature control. The room door lock felt flimsy, and there was no deadbolt, which made the room feel insecure. The close proximity to Main Street was convenient and appreciated. The “continental breakfast” was very underwhelming—subpar bagels, no cream cheese, and low-quality pastries

We arrived just after the worst Ice Storm that the region had seen in decades. Peach Tree upgraded our room from a standard upstairs room to a bungalow on the ground level, because they were worried that we might encounter Ice on the second floor balcony. Breakfast is just a couple of doughnuts. So go to the Sunrise.
