Loved the decor in the room. Very up to date. Loved the stand up shower. Our toilet was clean, but it needed a deep clean to remove some stains. Not sure if it is hard water or what since the water in general has a sulphur smell.

This could have been a nice place to stay, if it hadn't been for circumstances beyond their control. There were still things that could have been done to alleviate the issues. There was a violent storm that went through at 11:30 PM. We lost power at 11:40. The power never came back on. That meant, no lights, water (toilets and showers), elevators, wifi, coffee, breakfast, nothing. When we left there was a slot to drop off our keys. Nobody was around to offer help, to offer mailing a receipt, or to apologize for our uncomfortable stay. Someone from the property checking on us would have been really nice.

The facility was dated, bathroom was so-so. Food selection was so-so. There was no coffee maker in the room, so my day started off less than optimal. The coffee available in the breakfast room was very dilute. Overall very disappointing compared to my previous experiences with Holiday Inn Express facilities.

Heat in room was excessive and had to turn it down to 59 but still remained very hot all night long. Also, the toilet and sink has stains that make it look dirty. We did not sleep well due to a hard bed and the other room doors slamming so hard all night long with other visitors came and went. The hotel seemed very old and could use a refresh. The front desk staff were very nice and the breakfast was good and the space was clean.

We had an ok stay. The bath smells of sewage when you run the sink or shower, which is just an unpleasant smell. The room was pretty clean. They could do a better job cleaning the bathtub and shower liner. There’s not much around there, but a decent place to stay when passing through.
