The outside property is nice. We had 2 rooms - one room smelled really bad like animal urine. I wish we would have asked to change rooms but we didn’t because we came in so late. The other room had a cracked mirror and the remotes were taped together. The room itself was clean and the beds were comfortable though. I have come to expect more from La Quinta and we were very disappointed. The pool was broken and appeared to have been for a long time as there was yucky green water in it. They did have a nice continental breakfast.

Great staff and hotel

The gentlemen that helped us when we checked in was GREAT. He was very personable and nice. I asked him questions about the breakfast and he told me everything they had to offer. The location was great as we had an event at the Tulare farigrounds. Close to restaurants and next to the freeway. We had to extend on Sunday for one more night and the lady that was working was very helpful. Great staff.

For the price you pay, it’s worth it.

My daughter & I arrived around 8/8:30pm. Check in was easy, the attendant was very friendly & welcoming. She provided plenty of information regarding breakfast, parking, amenities & room location. Parking was abundant. There is a couple of restaurants right next to the hotel was a plus. The room smelled good & was clean. Breakfast was simple & basic, yet had plenty of options. I would stay here again.

Hot boxed by the second hand smoke.

The rooms were clean, but outdated. As soon as the elevator doors opened, there was a strong marijuana smell- that only got stronger with time. We asked to be moved and originally was told that we’d have to pay the difference and later told that it would be covered and were moved to the first floor. Room was much better than the first one. It had more updates and in better condition than the first one. Overall, it was a decent overnight stay.
