Cash deposit, read the fine print

Had to pay $60 cash deposit that was not indicated anywhere on my reservation that I could see. Not an issue if they use a card for deposits, but they insisted on cash. Which meant I was standing there tired as heck at midnight just trying to get to my room when the clerk tells me I need to provide $60 in cash as well. Who carries that much cash on them nowadays?

Security deposit $60 cash per room is terrible thing. Since we had 4 rooms they asked $240, I dont think people this much cash nowadays. Very hard time to find the cash that too with kids. Poor experience.
