The only good thing about this hotel is its location near Sequoia National Park. Parking is right outside the door, which makes unloading luggage easy. Towels and bed sheets were very dirty. Shower door would not close. Power outlet for the hair dryer did not work. Dead spiders on the ceiling. The wifi was unusable, no signal at all.

We arrived around 10 pm. It turns out that after 9pm the office is closed and you have to check in in different hotel. There is no WiFi available and your phone doesn’t work either so you are on your own. We turned around and tried to find the other hotel. It takes around 10 minutes to go there and 10 minutes to go back to the hotel. Room was ok but there were stains everywhere- on the doors , blanket, floor. AC is extremely loud- sounds like train passing by. You have to turn off everything before you leave the room- if you don’t do it there is a 25 fee per day. The good thing is definitely the location- Hotel is very close to park entrance which makes the trip easier. You can sit outside- there are 2 chairs and a table which was nice.

As soon as I checked in, I paid and noticed I was charged under “Misc” $10.36. When I asked what that was, I was told it was a mistake and will be reversed! Up to now, I haven’t seen the credit yet! We stayed 2 days and no cleaning was done. Toiletries, towels, roll of papers were not refilled! Front desk starts from 3pm-9pm only! Office is closed before & after that time!

Just a room to sleep and shower. Nothing special. Room had ants, but it wasn’t bad. I expected worst. Would stay here again.
Rooms were good, but they need to be cleaned, unfortunately they weren't cleaned, one room had only a single shower towel, heaters work well but they can't be regulated, it gets too hot even at lowest warm setting. Overall a good and affordable stay.

I have previously stayed here before and it’s very close to Sequoia Park entrance, cozy and have the basic essentials. However there was a rotten apple in our refrigerator no big deal really we just throw it away. However we were 15 minutes past checkout at 11 and the housekeeper really was rushing us out of the room And when I mean, rude, I mean rude literally was out there by 11:20 AM and she said she was gonna charge us $200. If we stayed any later I’m a true believer and it’s not what you say. It’s how you say that level of rudeness, for no reason was not necessary.

It was better than expected from other reviews. I had to clean the bathroom when we arrived. The sheets and room seemed clean enough.

Room needed better cleaning and work. Outdated, spider webs, dust everywhere. Can be better maintained
The room was big and comfortable. The location hasa huge advantage that its close to the park, but its disadvantage is limited food options close by. Price was reasonable.
The showerhead in the bathroom kept leaking, thats my only minor gripe with the stay. Otherwise, a very nice place to stay for a trip to Sequoia NP.
Great beds, blackout window coverings, parking and access from the road. Super helpful office manager.
Some deferred maintenance (shower head leaking and shower door latch inoperative). Quiet after I unplugged the refrigerator. Heater unit very effective. Cold at my visit so did not use air conditioner. Internet service spotty in the back county location. Overall good sleep and excellent, helpful office manager. Be aware that office not manned 24/7 so see web site for hours of service.
The place was dirty and nasty. I reserved a king but they overbooked and “upgraded” me to a room with 2 queens for the same price. The check in woman tried telling me it was a because it’s more an expensive room… how is that an upgrade if i’m getting a smaller bed but an extra one I won’t use. Blanket and sheets were foul and dirty. Shower disgusting and filthy. I could go on.
