Room service knocked on door at 8-9am repeatedly after I told them we did not want service. Desk service was even worse, required us to move rooms in middle of stay. The room was old, dated, musty and unclean. Would not recommend for the price.

This place is a clean and comfortable place to stay. They have put a lot of thought into everything. Very attentive staff and would stay here again. Stayed here 22 years ago and again this year 2025. Happy both times. Walkable to Friday Harbor and beyond.

The check-in/check-out process was simple and easy, the room was basic but clean and comfortable, it was quiet, and we were very close to everything. I thought the room was overpriced, but otherwise everything was good.

Walking distance to harbor and stores and restaurants. Very quiet. Parking space is very limited. This motel is very expensive. And rooms are not fancy or anything to justify the price. Very friendly staff.

Earthbox was situated right downtown, no need to bring your car, easy to check in, buildings were clearly marked, room was clean and had plenty of coffee, and soaps. I will be back!

Excellent location near all of Friday Harbor dining/shopping/excursions. It’s about 4 blocks from the ferry terminal (up a gradual hill). The separate toilet/shower area of the bathroom is really small, so not great if you are a large person. Otherwise, very clean, fridge and microwave, and nice locally made soaps! On-site coffee bar/light breakfast space is nice.

The location is perfect as it’s right in the middle of Friday Harbor. But it’s very pricey for what it’s worth. It’s also extremely noisy as it’s a motel set up so people are constantly walking by.

Great and convenient location with good and free parking. It’s a short walk to everything in Friday Harbor. Breakfast is not included and options are limited but there are nearby restaurants. I think they only have queen sized beds - but ours was nice. I was a little surprised that many places on the island are closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays but it is less crowded and quiet on those days.

booking & check in stream lined and easy, and when the team texted and offered concierge services they weren't kidding! they got back to me promptly about a dinner question that turned out to be the highlight of our entire 2 week vacation. and were also very responsive and helpful when we needed to seek medical help on the island. apart from these services, having the pool there for my kids was awesome post-national parks, and rooms were clean and comfortable for a peaceful night's sleep for my family.

Friday Harbor is such a special place, and Earthbox was a great home base for our 2 night stay. Easy walking distance to restaurants, shopping and the Farmer's Market Saturday morning.
