The hotel and facilities are really nice. We used the pool which was great too! The only thing I would say which wasn’t obvious for us on booking is there’s an extra charge to use the pool facilities.

Lovely peaceful dog friendly hotel ( doggies even got a welcome pack) with amazing views, walks and helpful staff. There are no local amenities though and you need to drive for alternative dining etc. Very restful at a stressful time

Fantastic value for money - last stayed here 18 years ago and it is still as good as it was. Price was also surprisingly low and much much better price and quality than the Holiday Inn a few miles away

Good stay but poor service checking in and difficult checking out with no receipt available and not emailed as promised Preauthorisation taken from debit card and money left my account - nor returned despite paying with American Express before leaving Also felt the hotel advertised with a gym and swimming pool stating residents need to pay extra once booked isn’t appropriate

only a one night stay but really friendly staff, excellent size standard bedroom, comfy as well. Evening meals were excellent and well presented. Buffet breakfast was usual hotel fayre but there was plenty of choice and we particularly liked the Danish pastries, let down slightly by cold plates and only one hot drink machine

Nice location

Reception very helpful and immediately changed me to a ground floor room when asked. (I’m on crutches). Room Clean but seemed a little tired, ready for a refurb. Surprised there are no usb charging sockets. Very peaceful location and plenty of parking.

3 star type property. Location was the selling point for us. We had two different rooms. If I based this review on the first one it would be less than favorable as the room was unbearably hot. The second room we had was much nicer and temperate.

Very friendly staff

We paid extra and had the breakfast in the morning, we ate in the conservatory area and the views were stunning. The room was clean and the bathroom was a little small but the shower was really large and fully accessible. The staff were really friendly, great customer service 🙂
