Great place, very grateful I found it!

Fantastic hotel perfectly located in the centre of Oslo. Everything is just a short walk away (10 mins from the station, 10 from the harbour and 10 from the Opera House). The rooms are great, and there is a really nice rooftop bar and downstairs lounge/reception with free coffee. One thing to note is that room cleaning is extra. Had a really good stay and would definitely return.

Excellent property, great value for money, centrally located in a beautiful historical building and very well maintained. On the checkout day, the key stops working at 11am sharp and the elevator gets very busy.

Absolutely top-notch service. Reception desk staff was extremely helpful with pointers about Oslo and areas near Oslo. We enjoyed our breakfasts everyday, because of the food and — again — superb service. Very clean and cozy rooms. I’d be happy to go back to this hotel.

Breakfast was very good, but recommend purchasing it in advance. The price quoted varied day to day (!?) and staff looked inconvenienced when asked to charge it the room. Norda restaurant had good food and service, but slightly limited selection. We ate there twice. It offered nice views. We had superior twin. The room was small and beds were tiny and somewhat uncomfortable. One huge terrible pillow and one reasonable pillow. The room was very noisy esp on weekends with music blasting until midnight. Weekdays were better. The windows could open which was great for fresh air. Temperature regulation was very comfortable. The door to bathroom was glass (see through around the perimeter). Shower and sink were ok, but occasionally the water temp would fluctuate. The room was slightly dirty, but the hallway was extremely dirty and unpleasant. Front desk was polite, but not genuinely interested in making your stay pleasant. The location was only good for proximity to train station, otherwise it was unnecessarily busy and far from most museums and attractions. Definitely would not stay in this area or at this hotel again.
