Gion subway station 50 feet from the front door is what sells this property for me along with the Lawsons directly adjacent. Rooms are conventionally small, no surprise, but the WiFi is the worst I've experienced at an APA. Breakfast is good value for the business traveler.

The room was clean, not spacious at all, but well located (right in front of the subway exit). The only negative I had was the humidity of the room. I spend five nights and every day, I was super uncomfortable how humid the indoor was. I spent at another hotel near by right after this place, and the difference was obvious. I had the AC on all day and night, but it didn't seem to help... That was the only negative part of this hotel.

Mattresses are different to the other APA hotels. Mattress was like a peice of foam. Did not give enough support Pillows were good. Next to train station and bus stops which is convenient Staff are very nice and helpful

First of all we stayed in one of their largest rooms (248sq/ft give or take) on the 13th floor. The room is a rectangle, with no square footage wasted. You open the door and you're in the room, no little mini hallway, no columns. So EXCELLENT use of space. The bathroom was huge. We really liked the sliding door (again, great use of space). Comfortable, warm, friendly staff, easy check-in with a kiosk, instructions could be changed to English for us, with one of the staff watching over in case we needed help. The breakfast buffet was small but delicious. Our only complaint was that we could hear the sirens and cars, even from the 13th floor, all night all. Every night. I guess sound carries easily? Everything else was great.

No, not for me…

Nicely and centrally located just in front of the metro, 2 kms from Fukuoka airport. I didn’t like that checkin had to be done on their machines with hardly any staff around at all. Check-out at 10 with the advice to get out earlier in order not to accrue a whole night more is unacceptable. Even a warning in the elevator saying. 9-10 is peak using time ,so be prepared to use at 8 o clock,a very uninviting hotel . I will try my very best not to return to any apa in order not to steal their precious hotel bed by checking out only at 10.05 . God forbid overstaying a whole 5 minutes.My goodness what a concept to see people as a commodity….The room was small but efficient, cleaning staf was doing a great job. 24 rooms on each of the 14 floors is a lot of work for small pay in Japan.
