Cleanliness was great in the room. The 711 is right downstairs making it convenient. The subway was just across the way only a min or two walk. I did find it strange that the breakfast included was across the street but it was still delicious none the less

Disliked: Staff & service, amenities
STAFF WAS VERY RUDE AND NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN
I was impressed as to how spacious our room was compared to others that we stayed at in Japan. Our room was clean and welll maintained. My only gripe was the bed was really hard, but that seems to be the norm for Japan.
The picture of the breakfast was not to impressive, but once I ate it, I actually enjoyed it (it was a large slice of bread) from Komeda Coffee, a restaurant across the street from the Hotel.
There is no restaurant on the premises.
The neighborhood around the hotel has numerous restaurants and stores, including a Daimaru and Mitsukoshi. The train exit that we took was exit 6 of the
tenjin minami station. I also was not happy that there were only stairs to exit this particular station.
If you have heavy luggage, it is something to think of.
It is no fault of the hotel though.
About a 4-5 minute walk from the station exit.
All in all, I will most definitely be back !!
Stayed here during a 17 hour layover in Fukuoka en route to Thailand. Very wonderful hotel with excellent staff. Despite my short stay I got to see the city and enjoy some of the local food. The hotel is extremely well located and the price was phenomenal. All the staff were extremely courteous and professional. The room is small but has everything you need, definitely a great option for anyone wanting to see the city!
-extremely loud area at night making it very hard to sleep
-hotel staff wont help with yamato (luggage courier)
-large amount of mold in bathroom + aircon vent
-lift MUST stop at lobby on level 2 every single time
-bathroom smelt like sewage
-limited tea/coffee facilities
Only thing that was an issue was the smell of the room. It was clean, it just had a lingering smell to it.

Convenient between Tenjin and Nakasu Kawabata
I needed a convenient place to stay near Tenjin and near a subway stop to get the airport. The price point and location was perfect. A lot of hotels were already booked that day but this was just off the beaten path which was fine. Found a a nice live music jazz club, dinner club across the street. Wonderful music, food and drinks. Nice way to relax before my business trip the next morning.

Liked: Staff & service, room comfort
very convenient. not luxurious, but sufficient.
Location is excellent, very close to city center of Fukuoka. can find CVS in 1-min walking distance.
My room and hallway smell very badly like body odor. My shower had mold and smelled of mildew and the sheets were not clean they had hair from the previous guest all over. Slept on top of towels in clothes

Close to JR Station. Good location with good price
I booked the hotel just few days before the trip. It's good pick in terms of Location and Price under limited choices. Suggest to budget traverlers.
It was convenient access for me, considering my other plans. However, the first floor smelled awful-- like dirty water maybe, though that could just be the smell of water in Fukuoka.
Service was ok, but the room also smelled bad. It was supposed to be nonsmoking, but I doubt it.
