Nice Hotel - Great Location

Grand Hyatt Fukuoka is a very nice hotel, it sit in between Hakata Station and Tenjin. Every night the street food vans start up about 5pm and they are just across the road. I that isn't your thing, there are plenty of Ramen restaurants in close proximity to the hotel. There are a number shrines and temples within walking distance. If you need good tourist information head down to the tourist information office at Tenjin, they have plenty of maps and sightseeing brochures. The hotel is adjacent to Canal City Shopping Centre.

This hotel had everything I needed

Great Japanese-style spa facilities equipped with lounge, large community-style hot bath, sauna, cold plunge, and steam room. Fitness room was pretty good for Japanese hotels with treadmills, bike machines, weight machines, and dumbbells.

The room is clean and quiet, yet a bit dated. Breakfast is excellent. Compare to the Hakata station, the Canal city is more quiet but still very accessible.

This was a great place to be centrally located for a family trip in Kyushu province. I would happily go back. The hotel is right next to Canal City Mall which is full of great shops and restaurants. Across the street on the other side is the food stalls and night food scene of Fukuoka. It's clean and the hotel staff are kind and very helpful. Overall, it made for a great vacation.

I recently stayed at the Grand Hyatt Fukuoka and had a great experience. The room was comfortable and well-appointed, providing a relaxing stay. The hotel’s gym was convenient and well-equipped, making it easy to keep up with workouts. Parking was available underground, which was a plus. The location is excellent—right next to a mall with plenty of dining options nearby. Overall, a solid choice for both comfort and convenience in Fukuoka.

The property is attached to a mall which caters for tax free shopping which is great. Also those who are card collectors there was a shop a few hundred meters on the river from the hotel. There is a water show each day the doesn’t finish until 10pm so it not a place to stay if you want quiet.
