A quite nice place in Fukuoka.
This is the first time we stayed in Rei Fukuoka and we are very happy with the hotel. Its small but very clean, comfortable and good location. But there is one problem we encountered, there is no hot water in the bidet. But it was resolve right away by Yang San. Will definetly be back here. Thanks Tokyo REI Hotel Fukuoka.

Good location, pretty hard beds
The location is very good. The hotel is located close to Hakata station. Instead of getting lost like I did, crossing pedestrian bridges with a heavy suitcase etc. look for the West 6 exit underground in Hakata station. The area is very quiet at night. The room was nice, immaculately clean as (almost) always in Japan. The bed was a bit too hard for my liking. Staff were courteous, although it never ceases to amaze me how difficult it is to communicate in English in Japan, even with people working in the tourism industry. Several times we had to give up on, in my view, pretty straightforward questions. The one who it was the easiest to communicate with was a young female trainee. I hope the hotel hires her on the spot. Canal City shopping mall is a ten minute walk away from the hotel. A few minutes beyond that is Nakasu which has a lot of yatai food stalls, and across the river from that is an area with a lot of nightlife. If I ever come back to Fukuoka I'd gladly stay at this hotel again.

The hotel is an easy 5 min walk from the JR Hakata station. Lobby was small but check-in was easy. Room was small for three of us and the extra bed was uncomfortable affecting our sleep. Amenities were basic as you would expect from the hotel in this category. Service staff while courteous seems serious and offered little help unless approached. Location was good as it is near the JR station where two underground lines run. It is two minutes from the bus terminal for direct transport to the international terminal of the Fukuoka airport. Despite the size of the room, we would be satisfied with the hotel except for its uncomfortable extra bed affecting our quality of sleep.

Nice hotel situated away from the hustle and bustle of the centre but with a convenient train link to Tokyo Station just across the road. Room are a good size and in lovely condition and kept scrupulously clean. The area has a number of shops and cafes close by.

The room is clean. The water pressure of shower is excellent. Hotel locates just 5 mins away from train station and bus terminal. Lots of shops and restaurants are around. Good experience in my stay.

A compact hotel located near JR train station. Room is clean but small in size. Offer free coffee n drink after 2pm. Would be good to provide free breakfast for guests who book room.

Buffet breakfast had a wide variety of food and was delicious. Location was close to main train station and historic sites. There was free laundry machine and dryer to use (detergent costs 100¥ if needed ). There was also water dispenser to use. The staff were friendly.
