The staff can't communicate with English. The room is many equipments need to repair. The staff can't help guest to solve problem and always to say money. The hotel is not alike a hotel is more like a montel.
Good hotel and ambience. Only problem is no washing machine if you decide to do laundry

I stayed in this hotel few years ago before its name changed to Basic. I really like the location of this hotel. The service was good, but the staff was not as knowledgeable as before.
We checked out on 26 June after a 5-night stay at a premium room with lounge access.
After checking out, we went to the lounge for a quick coffee as we would usually do before heading off to the airport.
The hotel staff came up to us as we were sipping our coffee, only to tell us that we were not entitled to use the lounge after check-out. They were practically asking us to leave then.
That was unpleasant, to say the least. We found the hotel staff to be very rude this way. We stayed 5 nights and the hotel simply was eager to just kick us out immediately after we checked out.
We stayed at many hotels in Japan from Hokkaido to Okinawa. None was like this. The hotels usually welcome hotel guests to use their facilities on the check-out day. Even the onsen hotels welcome checked-out guests to use the onsen on the last day after check-out.
The practice of the Basics in this aspect falls short of our expectations, and is extremely rude and inhospitable. It leaves us very disappointed with this otherwise nice hotel.
