Property is fairly close to the high street and the fruit market. Room is spacious and clean with good shower and air conditioning. Breakfast is included with the stay, a lot of different choices of pastries and fruit and it’s available until 10:30am. One downside is that there is no parking slot available on site. But hotel staff suggested a few walkable spots to park and one of them was completely free.

The hotel is clean and modern and the staff are all very helpful. Breakfast was excellent with a large choice available. Our room was cleaned every day, the beds were comfortable and there was a kettle with tea and coffee in the room, also a complimentary bottle of wine, and fresh water in the room every day. The bar off the reception area didn’t seem well used but the view from the top floor was great. The pool is small, and the wind pretty strong up there. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the seafront and the city, there are shops nearby. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Beautiful hotel. Nice size rooms and comfortable beds!! Fairly short walk to bars restaurants and attractions. Others are just short bolt rides. Also was a very nice breakfast with lots of hot foods and vegetarian options.

We stayed for 8 days and had a fantastic time. Breakfast was fresh and had lots of choices to set you up for the day. The property is spotless and the rooms are very spacious. All the staff were amazing especially Pedro on the front desk and Gilda who cleaned our room on a daily basis.

This hotel is in walking distance to Funchal. It was so clean and the rooms are updated. The buffet breakfast that was included had so many options. It was delicious everyday. If I return to Madeira I would definitely stay at The Turim. I highly recommend this hotel.

Because of our delayed flight from the UK, we didn't book in until midnight. However, the hotel had arranged a taxi to collect us and kept us informed by email. Booking in was easily done and later in the morning, the fellow at reception provided me with a teapot of milk! The choice at breakfast was excellent and set us up for the day. Another lady at reception even advised us of the correct bus and bus stop to get us back to the airport. Only a ten minute walk into town so very convenient - what's not to like!

Great location - super convenient for the centre of Funchal and the old town and not much of a hill to go up to it. All staff fantastic and always smiling, really good breakfast, rooms good size and like the rest of the hotel very clean and tidy, views from the roof top bar/ pool superb - it was a really good choice for us! Couple of minor comments - - the pool was really cold! In fairness it is February but the sea was warmer. - when you get out of the pool the floor becomes really slippery - the is our only real negative as this could be quite dangerous - two us slipped a bit. - the spirits in the bar are a little pricey All in all though we had a great time in Madeira and would definitely recommend and stay at this hotel again!

Amazing staff, always doing their best to grant an excellent stay. Great location, comfortable and clean (although some mold can be seen in the washroom). Only area of improvement I suggest is their Wi-Fi - tremendously slow: speeds should be improved.
