No welcome, no parking; it seems the staff was tired. It was very expensive for an old room. I had to walk around outside the hotel to a multi-floor parking lot, which had a lot of people wandering around. I felt unsafe.

There is NO PARKING unless you pay 30.00 a night in the parking garage. There is no security so as a female I had to walk through the garage down the street passing homeless sitting on the sidewalk to check in.

It is a very nice clean property right downtown. We were even more impressed with the friendly front desk staff and the lady in the breakfast area. Parking is very limited but it is because it is right downtown near restaurants and bars.

AC Loud -Bed Like a Rock and Tiny-
The bed was horrible. Absolutely rock hard and way too small. If I pay for a suite—the size of the room matters but so does the size of the beds. There is plenty of room for two queens—we had doubles. Not good for two taller people. Also, the AC was horrible! It made loud popping and rattling noises allllll night and we just had to try to sleep between it. We had a huge swim meet and couldn’t ask for maintenance to come in in the middle of the night to fix it. Last thing —I had to sit on the toilet for 10 minutes while my husband had to go to front desk and get a back up roll of toilet paper!! Really??? No extra roll left in bathroom! UGH! Very disappointed in this stay.

We spent one night before Hurricane Helene hit and everyone was very professional, room was great, convenient location and we could park on the street for free because of the hurricane. Normally there is a parking fee.

The fire alarm went off in our room after a very smoky smell was detected. It was only our alarm went off & staff said it was due to restaurant 6 floors below smoking food. They moved us to a different room at my request. It is very troubling that smoke alarm could be set off for the reason stated.
