The first room smelled like wet and humid carpet, was switched to a second room which smelled like wet dog and I was told that guest are sneaking there pets through the back door. Third room giving was a bit better but it was midnight and family and I just needed to rest so we stayed.

This hotel is in need of a major update. The lobby looks nice and clean, but that’s where it stops. The carpets in the hallways are so dirty, stretched, and wrinkled you trip over the folds. There are missing tiles in the bathroom and poorly repaired walls in the room. Even the elevator looks old and tired.

Cleanliness could be better—our room had some mold on the lamps and a weird smell , which was disappointing. The hotel itself feels a bit outdated and could use some upgrades. Additionally, the breakfast bar was underwhelming, with limited options. Waffles were the only main item, and there wasn’t much else in terms of variety. Overall, I appreciate the staff’s efforts, but there’s room for improvement to enhance the guest experience.”

We had to wait for almost 20 min to checking as no one was available and other staff couldn't help. Room smelled like it was a smoking room. Breakfast opens were just waffles and no real alternate.

A decent relatively clean place that is minutes from UF campus. Nothing spectacular. The fixtures are a bit dated and the housekeeping staff was less than attentive for our visit this time. For example, though they took the soiled linens we used, (we stayed for two nights) they neglected to replace them...I mean ALL of them. And when we tried to get linens from the front desk staff, we were given a bit of hard time when we asked for three sets for the THREE people we have in the room and on our reservation. The beds were left unmade and nothing else in the room had been touched. The 'hot' breakfast was make your own waffles. The rest was cereal, yogurt, etc. That all being said, it was convenient, relatively affordable and did the job. Would we stay there again? Maybe if the deal were good enough.

Staff was extremely accommodating. The painting and the repairs of the walls in my room was like an unskilled person did the work. Using duct tape to repair a hole and then paint over it is very sloppy. You definitely could tell that maintenance is unskilled. .No strainer in the sink - old toothpaste cap in the bathroom sink. Paint on the curtains. Carpeting in the hall looks really old and ruffled.

Everything was great but one thing. The beds were like sleeping on concete slabs. As one with multiple back and bone problems and scoliosis problems a hard unforgiving bed is very painful to sleep on. I was in gruiling pain all night and mostnof the morning.

The carpet in the lobby needs to be replaced. It has been taped down but has come loose. The carpet on the second floor is worn and parts of it is lumpy. I stumbled twice. Accident waiting to happen. In the bathroom there is loose tile. Also, the TV didnt work. The manager claimed that it was the fault of the cable company. If so I should have been told when I checked in. The most disgusting was the dirty toilet. Inside the bowl was dirty and the seat was full of hair. Terrible! The manager had housekeeping to clean it. I am glad that I was there only one night. Also the breakfast can be improved. I would not recommend this hotel.
